It must have pained the folks at the Des Moines Register to post this.
To: usafa92
Since there last poll, if I heard correctly, Trump is up +6 points, Cruz down -2 and Rubio up +3.

Meh. Was led to believe Trump's lead would be far larger. Granted, it's the Des Moines Register.
Still anyone's horse race between Trump & Cruz, and standard disclaimer: the only poll that counts is the one on election day (or in this case: caucus day.)

Cruz may not finish second at this point. His ground game is still strong, but the juice is now with Trump and Rubio...

According to Cruz supporters, DMR is basically the Superman of Polling outfits in Iowa.
To: usafa92
How accurate was DMR in previous elections? Did they call the Santorum victory in 2012?
To: jimbo123
Jeb at 2%!

And THAT is sweet indeed!

I’m going to stop paying attention to Iowa polls and forecasts. By Tuesday morning, we will know.

And since some certain folks were calling it the gold standard, most accurate, poll a few weeks back, I think we can call this one good.
To: SamAdams76
Looking good. Wish his lead were another 15 points higher.

Cruz was intentionally sabotaged by his SuperPacs. Follow the money.

If the DR says Trump has 28%.
That means he will end up with 32-33%

Gonna be a whole lot of people dropping out of the race starting next week. Pretty much everyone below Rubio should exit the race at this point. Once the race consolidates to three candidates, THAT is when it’s going to get very interesting.
