Who left the strength and truth gap, that lies should sweep the land?
Ya, OK ... and the teachers are the delivery system
Yeah...
Part of this is the official distaste for things Christian, but part of that problem is the failure of Christianity to really get in at the grass roots, which are the KIDS.
If kids brought Christ into the school with anywhere near the verve that they bring fads like Frozen, the grownups would not be asking why there is no prayer in schools. They’d be puzzling about how to get the kids to quit praying because God isn’t letting them get away with anything, but with many eventually getting the picture.
Scenarios like this strike me as more SILLY than TRAGIC because the solution isn’t that complicated.
Common Core. Rotten to.
It’s a damned good thing I don’t do acid anymore !
I hear a lot of complaints about “Common Core” and don’t know what’s realistic and what’s exaggerated.
But I do know that most of America had a common core that was Judeo-Christian values and beliefs.
Even a kind of bowdlerized Islam fills that hole a lot better than nothing does.
Reality is weirder than acid.
Forced prosthization of our children. Plus it’s a blatant lie too — designed to brainwash our children to accept or approve of all of the Muslim violence and mass- murders of innocent Americans and other people around the world. Very very dangerous for our children to be getting this kind of false (suicide- enabling) programming —
They don't have the confidence to teach their own children so they send them to the institution that raped THEM of the ability to teach their own kids and pay too much good money to hire commie teachers indoctrinated in every thing but Christianity
Mom and Dad give 'em up around 5 yrs old (and glad to be rid of 'em) and turn them over to a locked compound that has no long, tall windows to look out of and dream dreams, under the tutelage of young and capable indoctrinaires of destruction
It is an unseemly exercise, no doubt about it.
I just can’t stop thinking about how this came to pass.
For one thing, I believe actual Christians in America were too complacent. They leaned on Caesar, not the everlasting arms, to git-r-done. This was a fickle ally at best.
I’ve seen some anecdotal evidence of what happens when kids actually get on fire for Jesus at a very young age. And it can look pretty corny with the age-appropriate worship music and such involved. But the power can’t be denied.
We should spend less time cursing out Caesar and more time praying for Caesar, while doing what we can to get Christian faith into schools through the kids via homes... yes. We don’t need Caesar’s permission here. Acting like we did, got us tragicomedies like the lede article here.
HAH ... spoken like a true (ex) believer
Tolerance:
The Virtue of having a belief in NOTHING!!
I’d teach them about how to look into the Lord and dream dreams, long before they ever got into the schools. If I were advising parents, which I’m not (except when I get a word or two in via things like Facebook).
Well, the Christian model still works and it works splendidly.
However it never asked us to make Caesar into our instruments for that, or mope when Caesar decided he didn’t want to keep it up.
There is so much possibility here, and it is falling on the floor due to lack of a faith driven vision.
Thanks. (But I’ve long despaired of praying for the islamonazi in chief, or any of his murderous comrades. Satan has never shown any significant signs of repenting or bring helped by prayers -—). There are times for more mundane practical actions. Tho i like your thoughts. Thanks
I have gotten into wrangles with people who act like that before. They get MILITANT in their “tolerance.” They want Christians to shush when they pray because that might offend people with other beliefs.
What actually happens in real life is something more like the scenario of Jonah and the pagan sailors in the storm tossed boat. Everybody’s more than welcome to pray! But no, these mavens see nothing but the “virtues” of suppression!
Well the bible suggests it does good. We don’t have to see a saved Barack in order to see him held back from grosser evils than he has committed, or to thank the Lord for holding him back.
A saved Barack would be the cherry on top, but just the sundae is enough for me. We were put here to fight battles not to complain that the comfort isn’t up to snuff for us.
And the “mundane practical actions” can still be heaven focused. Like breaking our old notions about how young a child can be to be involved in power praise. Start showing those kids what a life full of Christ driving away devils can look like, and they’ll be sold... I dearly DEARLY wish I had known about something at that when I was young, it would have spared me so much heartache!
Don’t lean on Caesar, though. That’s a mistake. Be the one who invokes the power that can in turn change how Caesar acts.
Islam means “submission” as was explained to me by a Black Muslim.
Driving away Devils is precisely what’s needed
