No

The only way for one to NATURALLY be a US citzen is to be born here of citizen parents.
No other possibilty.
If one is born with other possible citizenships, one cannot be a natural born citizen.
Born here of citizen parents.
Natural born citizen.
If one could be anything else at birth, one cannot be a natural born citizen.

You can't retroactively 'become' natural born citizen. You either are one, or you're not.

The issue is not JUST the issue itself, but what the democrats will do with it in the general. And they will do plenty with it. We just do not need a candidate with this baggage, especially one who comes across, fairly or not, as a modern-day Nixon.

I can’t play the video here, for some reason. What was Drew Griffin’s conclusion? I would guess it was that Cruz is qualified.

“Can Ted Cruz, a former Canadian citizen, be president?”

This is the same problem that Obama had, but the MSM refused to investigate & publicize.
I believe Obama held dual citizenship for the first 20 years of his life, and applied and attended school here as a foreign student. That’s why he hasn’t revealed his college records (aside from having poor grades as an undergraduate and probably having a record of being involved in very Left-wing student organizations)

Well this could happen.....

Cruz gets elected then invades and conquers Canada.

What if your parents are United States Ambassadors living in the other country when you are born?

What if your father is an admiral in the Navy when you are born in a Panama hospital?

Cruz has two Ivy league degrees including a law degree from Harvard.....but seems to have a sloppy approach to his private life. (1) Didn/t tell Texas voters and the FEC about Wall Street bank loans; (2) didn/t know he was a dual Canadian citizen until the Dallas Morning News exposed him; (3) said he didn't have health insurance (exposed by the media as a lie); (4) told Levin the loans were used for campaign ads but the Cruz campaign never declared this expenditure.

Does he pay attention to anything?

=============================================

BACKSTORY Cruz/s Senate election fairy tale has become legendary......portraying himself as a scrappy populist putting everything on the line to overcome a wealthy establishment opponent.

Cruz was whining in the media, telling trusting Texans that he, and his faithful little wife (a $700,000 globalist lawyer employed by G/S), were forced to liquidate their entire family savings (of slightly more than $1 million) to fuel a come-from-behind win in the Republican primary.

NOW TRUSTING TEXANS LEARN Cruz did not liquidate family assets.....he got his hands on over a million dollars from his hefty margin accounts at G/S and Citibank......and did not disclose this on FEC reports (to keep it a secret from trusting Texans).

Cruz did not disclose loans on FEC reports (required by law) b/c Texans would have discovered he was not the aw-shucks rube he pretended to be. He continued the rube act in order to milk votes from trusting Texans.

At the same time, he also did not disclose he was a dual Canadian citizen......the Harvard-educated lawyer w/ two Ivy League degrees said he didn't know but later renounced his Canadian citizenship when exposed by the Dallas Morning News.

====================================================

NOTE Mrs Cruz is on hiatus from her $700,000 Goldman job.....is she getting paid by the Cruz campaign?
