We print money to bail out banks. Why can't we do it to solve climate change?

We need an estimated $1tn per year to stay below a global temperature rise of 2C. Creating new money might be the only way to meet this financial challenge.
The international community has agreed on an ambitious agenda to curb climate change. Some 195 countries have decided to try and cut greenhouse gas emissions to a level that will limit the rise in average global temperatures to well below 2C. The question we now face is: how are we going to finance the changes needed to reach this goal? Quantitative easing - creating new money - might just be the answer.

Matthias Kroll is
what passes for an economist at the World Future Council.
Swonderful. Matthias Kroll, self proclaimed economist, is also a scientific, managerial, and engineering genius, who knows the precisely correct global temperature and can unfailingly direct the vast resources of all the industrialized nations, to set the global thermostat, all in his spare time.
This kind of utter arrogance and presumptuousness can only be found among economists and journalists.

Matthias Kroll,
There is a great way to solve “climate change”. Close your eyes and click your heels 3 times and repeat “there’s no place like home”. And all your fantasies will come true.

I think we first need to have a global vote as to what the temperature should be throughout the year.
Then we can throttle it accordingly, spending more in the winter and less in the summer.

So, Kroll the Troll, announces a proposal to burn one trillion dollars to stop climate change?
In the past, the savages used to only sacrifice a virgin.

Actually, the author makes a very good point. If climate change is so serious, why aren’t we being serious about forestalling it? Answer: it isn’t all that serious.

I think we should print money to buy more printing presses. Wait, they are already doing that. ;-)

This article is absolute proof that the climate change fanatics are totally “brain dead.”
After all, if they can make up the fairy tale about climate change they can make.....”poof” new money that costs nothing.

Bothers me more is “world future council”. All this waste of time and money for a NON problem. Guess these assclowns never heard the old saying “You can’t change the weather.”. Sadly, the ecowackos messaging works real well.

The evidence shows that the temperature rise, specifically of the oceans is what releases the CO2 into the atmosphere. Historically the ice cores show that the temperature rise precedes the CO@ rise. We can, perhaps, limit the amount of human addition of CO2 but that will not affect the actual level of CO2 in the atmosphere because human CO2 is a tiny fraction of what is released by the oceans and the volcanoes, etc. Actually limiting the rise of CO2 in the atmosphere would have one primary effect on humankind. It would limit the expansion of the food supply. If we succeed in reducing the amount of CO2 while the population is still increasing then we create famine. This might actually be the goal og the warmists. The overall goal is quite possibly the severe reduction of the population of the world so that the elites can expropriate all of the wealth of the dead and enjoy the natural scenery of the parks undisturbed by them asses.
The elites, being God's brain believe themselves to be unaffected by Economics and believe that the disappearance of the lower classes will, in fact, leave all of the wealth of the world to them and they can then continue in absolute luxury.
