The most patriotic thing you can do at home is fly the American flag outside.
Countless men and women have joined the US military and lost their lives to defend the principles that flag stands for. The American flag stands for the freedom and the liberty endorsed by our Founding Fathers.
People should be allowed to fly it ANYWHERE!
But in a neighborhood near Houston, Texas, this man (below) was told by his landlord at Lodge on El Dorado that the American flag had to be removed? Why?
Because it might be offensive to practicing Muslims.
He told a local TV news reporter that the flag "isn't a threat to anyone." And his response is going VIRAL!
He said, "I'm gonna leave my flag there, as an American, until she shows me proof that I don t have the right to leave my flag there."
Many patriots are contacting this apartment building's management and expressing their displeasure with their flag ban!
Should American be allowed to fly the flag anywhere they want? Please leave us a comment (below) and tell us what you think!

This is our country, our flag. If someone doesn’t like to see our flag over our country, maybe they need to be farther from the flagpole. A lot farther. Go wherever you want, but be far from our shores.

I think the real problem is the judges, prosecutors, and elected officials.

Leave the flag up, and tell management to call the police. I’m guessing the police will ignore it, but even if they come out, what could they do? If he is arrested for flying the flag, all sorts of chaos will result, count on it!
I don’t think any cop outside of Sweden would make an arrest.
I suppose affixing the flag to your balcony rails might be considered “flying,” in a modest sense. It’s not like he put up a flag pole on apartment grounds. And if muslims feel affronted by seeing the Stars and Stripes, they are cordially invited to get the hell out of this country.
Technically, as maddening as it may be, the landlord is right on this one.
Private property rights are as sacred as the Bill of Rights.

If Muslims are offended by the sight of Old Glory on private grounds & demand its removal, that fairly screams that Muslims want the U.S. flag removed from all public venues as well, only that they currently lack the raw force to do so.

The fact that not allowing Americans to fly the flag is offensive to Americans doesn’t matter. Americans don’t count.
Hopefully the next flag the muzze sees is one painted on a cruise missile.

Their apartments, their rules.
Is anyone else allowed to fly a flag, then the guy should be able to fly a US flags.
If not, then no.
