CNN Stages Town Hall to Boost Clinton Candidacy

Who ever heard of a presidential primary debate or town hall meeting opening with a kiss on the cheek between the moderator and the frontrunner? It's safe to say that didn’t happen between Fox News' Megyn Kelly and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump. And not just because he didn't show up for Thursday night's debate in Iowa.

But if you tuned in to the January 25 CNN Democratic town hall [1], you would have seen that kiss between the moderator Chris Cuomo, and Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton. And that was just for starters. The event featured softball after softball question in a continuous love-in for the candidates, but especially so for Mrs. Clinton. This was a far cry from the December CNN Republican debate [2].

I don't watch CNN so I didn't realize that the CNN moderator literally kissed Hillary Clinton at the CNN phony "town hall meeting".

Questions were given to Clinton before hand and then assigned to "participants" to ask. The dishonesty of the MSM and their contempt for the American people is worse than ever.

IIRC, the DNC refused to let FOX host any of their debates.

I wonder why.

The only one who has a right to complain is Burney.
Everybody else realizes it’s a Democrat love fest.

I am actually starting to think we should want Clinton to stay in this race. If she stays in, she keeps Bloomberg away from a convention-floor nomination.

Bloomberg could be dangerous if he is the democrat nominee.

As a 3rd party nerd, I welcome him. As the democrat nominee, he worries me.

This just shows how absolutely horrible the Hillary! campaign is at PR. This town hall won’t work to boost her candidacy. Everyone knows why they are staging it. Everyone knows that the USS Hillary is sinking almost as fast as the USS Jeb. So this just calls attention to it. And if people tune in to watch, they will see Hillary give yet another horrid performance. Unlike Bill, she isn’t ready for prime time. She never has been.

The Bernie Sanders campaign shouldn’t have agreed to this last minute change. The moron deserves to lose.

Andrew Cuomo wants to run in 2020...it would be better for his ambitions if the Democrat loses in 2016....

“Bloomberg could be dangerous if he is the democrat nominee.”

It would be better if Bloomberg ran as a third party candidate but I don't think he would be a threat.

Bloomberg’s two issues are confiscation of guns and taxpayer funding of abortion. Both would make him unpopular with most Americans. Bloomberg’s only support would be in the NYC, New Jersey and Connecticut area. He could not even win as Governor of NY State. He is that unpopular outside NYC.

His personality is also very obnoxious to the point of being unbearable to most people.

He only won in NYC by spending huge amounts of money to buy the Republican nomination and then running as a Republican who promised to continue Rudy Giuliani's success. After election he switched from Republican to independent.
