What's the alternative to a white actor? A black actor in whiteface!
Seems like the hypocrisy of the black activist crowd - who would not tolerate a white actor in blackface - would make that alternative very tolerable.

I have no problem with fictional characters being potrayed by whomever they want to star in the role. The free market will judge the outcome.
But actual real historical people, that should stay the truth. Or as close to the truth as you can get with Michael Jackson.
