With the Iowa caucus less than a week away, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump remain the strong front-runners of their respective parties nationally.
Trump maintains his lead with 39% support among Republican and Republican-leaning voters - a full 20 points higher than any other Republican candidate.
On the Democratic side, Clinton is holding steady among Democratic and Democratic-leaning voters at 51% - she maintains a 14-point lead over Sanders, who has 37% support nationally.
These results are according to the NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking poll conducted online from January 18, 2016 through January 24, 2016 among a national sample of 9,690 adults aged 18 and over, including 8,215 who say they are registered to vote.
Support for Clinton and Sanders has remained nearly unchanged over the month of January in our tracking poll. But after the first caucus, national numbers may shift to reflect changes in momentum between candidates.
SNIP
Trump continues to dominate the (Republican) field across all age groups and among male and female voters. The biggest shift in our results this week is among white evangelical voters - a key group in the 2012 and 2008 Iowa Republican caucuses. Trump gets 37% of support, while Cruz is second with 20% support. He drops 9 points from last week among this demographic. Carson and Rubio are nearly tied in this group - 11% and 10%, respectively.

Iowa is looking very good for Trump.

Current situation is good for Trump.
No one in the countryside likes this schemer, this enabler, this liar; No one. She's got bad news practically every day, drip... drip.. drip. Stripping headers off of secure emails, commingling her state department with the Clinton foundations and saying 'every woman should be believed' except when it's someone her predator has messed up.
What, are they taking polls of the inner cities to do this? Where do they find these people that would support a person like this?
In before the “but look at the internals”...oh, never mind.
If people are following their conservative politics closely, I'm looking at very recent occurrances
1. Beck is Cruz's new BFF. Yuck!
2. The Boston Globe, came out for Kasich....tells me let's sew this thing up for Trump.
3. Jeff Sessions not endorsing Trump, but certainly reminding us who has the wise views on US jobs.
4. Cruz is avoiding talking about his Canadian birth citizenship, except for implying our concerns are misguided (put down of Constitutional Conservatives and "birthers")
I'll stop there. The list has gotten pretty long lately. I'm wondering if there are Cruz supporters who might leave Cruz because there's just too much, and choose Rubio or Rand Paul. Cruz is beginning to look more influenced by big money interests status quo interests on many important issues than those two are.
(my daily tie my night time thoughts together post)
“Inner cities don’t vote?”
In a choice between Rubio and Paul I prefer Paul.
Oh they and the dead vote often. Perhaps this explains Hillary's polls?
I DO NOT understand his campaign. He's at his best when he's the outsider who will listen to and is listened to by the DC crowd. He threw away his outsider status when he was so awful about Trump at the beginning...why didn't he use humor instead? And then there's the 100 ton gorilla in the room....the Federal Reserve and the mess it, in conjunction with banks, has made of the economy. It was his dad's big issue. With that he would've inherited those Ron Paul voters.
Along with a few other campaigns, one has to ask: "Who is managing these campaigns?"
JMHO
Three polls this AM. “When is the national primary?”. OK. Now that that has been said. CNN 41-19, ABC 38-17, Spank a Monkey 39-19. Hmmm trend?

Your tagline is my favorites Trump quote.
Thanks
So Trump has more of a lead on his side (20+ points) than Hillary has on the Dem side? (14 points)
Loving it!
