Watch the video - Cruz said 2 Chronicles. CNN screwed up.
Discuss away. My contention is the cult of personality worship is far more on display by Trump supporters than Cruz supporters.
“Happy Hour ends at 50 B.C.”
“We’ll be gone by then.”
Sorry. I’d rather do this than argue about Trump and Cruz.
Why, thank you, saintpeterlibre for your pronouncement from on high. You may have misunderstood his heart in seeking to shield himself from religious prying by an interviewer, but who am I to address the almighty saintpeterlibre with another point of view?
Actually, he didn't. The CNN reporter screwed up. Cruz correctly said 2 Chronicles 7:14 and then proceeded to quote the scripture from memory.
a noobie calling cruz supporters idolators? Thats rich. The cult of personality worship exists on the Trump side not the Cruz side.

The One Amendment gives everyone the right too freedom of worship.
Tell me how do you know what Ted has tithed? What record do you have?
Worship away You are making my point for me.
It was the second - Ted referenced 2 Chron. 7:14 and quoted it - the CNN reporter must have heard 2 Cor. because of the Trump issue.
Mistake by the CNN reporter, not by Cruz.
We are getting nowhere here. Let’s change the subject.
Do you think when Hillary gets indicted that she will plead the five?

Not high on the list of worries, but it also shows Trump is at best a casual practicing Christian despite what he’s saying on the trail. Like most things, he learns the surface level things and then acts on them. For example his opposition to obamacare is sincere but his understanding of the limits a government has in providing healthcare is absent. As of this primary campaign he has praised Canada and Europe. It’s not that he wants socailized medicine but he doesn’t have a deep policy understanding. He just grasps surface level ideas and reiterates mainstream conventional thinking in many cases. It’s excusable as long as he lets experts in that field help shape a better policy. Experts that share limited government philosophies.
People who either don’t like the conservative side of social issues or who realize that a strong Christian could never win in this Godless country will always say “I’m voting for president not preacher”.
“Trump did not say anything about having sex with his daughter.”
That’s right people just make stuff up.
He said she’s got the best body and he would date her of she wasn’t his daughter.
He didn’t say he’d have sex with her.
It’s like with Paris Hilton. Trump didn’t say he wanted to have sex with 12 year old Paris Hilton. He just said she was gorgeous at 12 years old when he first met her. It was Howard Stern who asked Trump if he wanted to bang her. Trump said no, he wasn’t interested because she was 12. He did say he and Melania watch her sex tape later.
I’m sick of people making things up about Trump.
I don’t care how many times he’s been married, I care that he cheats when he is married. I dislike and have no respect for those people and don’t want them in the White House. I’ve heard this song before and I didn’t like it the first time.
“but it also shows Trump is at best a casual practicing Christian despite what heâs saying on the trail.”
And that is exactly what I want in a president. A basic Christian, no hostility. That’s the goal. As I said, Carter and Bush were both very profoundly and devout Christians. Awful presidents.
Huckabee was a preacher. Bad governor and nothing I want. Little Ricky Santorum, yeahhh,,, no thanks.
On the president list its a check off box for me. Obama would be a no. A yes check is all that’s required for me, not a contest to see who knows the Bible best.
Look, when someone has gone through serial model trophy wives, admits attraction to his own daughter, makes billions working with Democrat politicians and mobbed up New York, New Jersey, and Nevada unions to build casinos, makes jokes about someone with CP, has laugh about somebody's claim he could murder people in broad daylight on fifth avenue and not lose a single vote, and then claims to be a devout Christian I am allowed to wonder. And when as a Christian he says he's never asked or felt the need to ask for forgiveness I have to shake my head and ask why he'd even bother to make the claim. That's where the word "pandering" comes in.
Frankly, Trump's religion or lack thereof is not relevant to garnering my vote. It would be better for everyone if the subject was left a private issue and kept off the table. Ted Cruz's or any politician's use of it turns me off. But Trump's history, associations, long term views (those which don't reek of convenience), and my own perception of his character and relative (we are discussing a human being and a politician to boot) honesty are at issue. Sorry that makes you irate.
Nah..
That would be The Axe of the Apostles...
