One might imagine that if you are pro-life you should also support gun control.
Guns extinguish life, after all.
That intuition leads many on the Left to criticize Republican pro-lifers who support Second Amendment rights.
Both issues are volatile this election year. If an inconsistency exists, though, it exists no less for Democrats.

Pro-gun is pro-life.
What could be more logically pro-life than protecting your life and the lives of your family?

How can you be pro-life and for the death penalty?
Simple. One is about killing an innocent child and the other is about punishing a dangerous convicted murderer.
How can you be pro-abortion and against the death penalty? Do you only believe in killing innocent children?

The last seven years has seen the biggest firearms buying splurge ever seen or recorded. The people who bought these ten’s of millions EXTRA guns aren’t all repubbies and didn’t buy them just to have their firearms ownership INFRINGED, so I hope all the dims keep campaigning on who is the biggest gun grabber.

The Bible condemned the murderer long before the Law was given to Moses. See Genesis 9:5-6:
“And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.
Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.”
Pro abortion and anti capital punishment is a much greater contradiction. Killing babies is OK but executing killers is a heinous act.
Sure, i’m pro-life.
Sure, I’m pro-gun.
It’s MY life, and if the only way to DEFEND MY LIFE is by the use of a GUN, so be it!
That doesn’t make any sense.
The whole point of owning a gun is to protect life, you own and your families
