The Republican votes that Mayor Bloomberg would take, would be those who will otherwise vote as "Republicans For Gore Or Biden," as the post Hillary Democratic nominee may be. (There is virtually no chance that Hillary's candidacy will survive till the convention.)
A Bloomberg candidacy as an independent, would be a real boon for Republican Conservatives.
