Yes. My POINT. If, then, this is an OPINION of an individual, why is it so necessary to blast throughout the story this was from a Justice, Judge, etc. You know the old adage, “Opinions are like.....everybody has one.”
If the opinion must necessarily be weighted more so, then this really isn’t opinion of a personal nature, is it? The color of opinion in those who administer judgment IS LAW.
To be clear, the status of this is that it was the formal report of a public inquiry commissioned by the UK government and chaired by this judge. It was not a court and doesn’t have the status of law. The report simply records the inquiry’s findings, and it’s now up to the UK government to decide what action (if any) to take.
