In a project titled "The Counted," the Guardian is tracking killings by police in the United States and has compiled a comprehensive list for the year 2015. The tracker was motivated by much-discussed but poorly founded concern about excessive use of police force particularly against blacks. In December, police killed 92 people - 21 blacks, 40 whites, 17 Hispanics/Latinos, five Asians/Pacific Islanders, and nine of unknown race. Fourteen were unarmed, including five blacks. Those who were unarmed reportedly still posed other types of threats to officers. These threats included physical violence and ramming officers with a vehicle.
Most of these reports are based largely on the accounts of eyewitnesses and the officers involved and so might not include all relevant details, such as results from ongoing police investigations. But the available facts fail to support the claim, made most prominently by the movement Black Lives Matter, that police systematically target unarmed black men. Of note among those who were killed is, however, the prevalence of mental illness. The basic facts of each case in the month of December are summarized below; links to coverage of the incidents in local media are also provided.

This article supports other articles that in fact show a DECREASE in police shootings. Especially shootings involving young black males.
Yet the White Hut, the BLM thugs, and the media keep repeating the lie that white racism is killing poor little back children.
It would be helpful if the facts were reported by police departments but for some odd reason there’s no law or regulation compelling police departments to report officer involved shootings and killings to the FBI.
In some of the cases that the Guardian has reported in the past not even the police department involved reports all officer involved shootings and killings in their own reports (Albuquerque, NM is a current example).
Yes, facts are stubborn things, but it’d be nice to have the facts from the source (US law enforcement) and not have to depend on a European news service to tell us about what our own police are up to.
Yes, the media keep repeating the lies that white racism oppresses and kills “innocent” blacks the same as white straight homophobes oppress and kill “innocent” homosexuals, transvestites, lesbians, etc. and white males oppress, abuse, and enslave hapless females because their captive audience chooses to believe lies rather than truth. The captive audience choose to accept the role of perpetual victim because it allows them to rationalize, validate, and act out on their own irrational hatred, me-first-narcissism, envy, greed, lust and other destructive impulses and compulsions. It’s a sick, twisted, relationship between Frankenstein and his progressive enablers.
Just shows the power of the media to drive the narrative.

The lie about cops targeting black youths keeps white liberal elites in power. Notice how Hillary used it in the last debate?

That ‘targeting’ lie keeps blacks angry AND keeps them showing up to vote democrat... a twofer for white liberal elites. The lie’s a disaster for the black community, race relations, and law enforcement.
