Kasich is a competent numbers guy. He burnt a couple of bridges by not being able to pull off in Ohio what Walker did in Wisconsin— and I still don’t get that because I’d always considered WI more liberal than OH. Then he took the Medicaid expansion under Obamacare. At this point Kasich’s best bet is to be HHS.

Kasich: He had a big-bank job between his HOR tenure and being Governor of OH. He totally went over to the dark side. As governor of OH, he's created his state surpluses and tax cuts by impoverishing local communities. He doles out money to construction and other corporate interests that bought him.

Local media keeps talking about how Kasich has a plan to move up the ladder in this campaign. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Jeb try to steal enough delegates for the nomination for one of them. I don't see how with the things he's said he'll have any authority over any potential convention mayham in OH.

I'll keep reminding everyone; Kasich is dangerous and not as foolish as he seems. I find it provocative that the dems ran such a horrible candidate against him that he was able to win a second term as Governor.
