I acknowledge that Londonstan where more than a third of the population is foreign born is not representative of the entire country. So assimilation is going swimmingly? No problems. Even Cameron admits there are problems. He is striking out against multiculturalism. Minorities of Color are not assimilating. You can probably list the riots better than I can. People are living in ghettos. Declining birth rates among white Britons will further change the demographics. The overall fertility rate of 1.89 children born/woman (2015 est.) is below replacement level. Immigration will continue to be a major factor in population increases. Will British values and institutions survive these demographic changes? Dubious at best as we see Sharia law accepted in the UK. Banning Donald Trump will not insulate the UK from the coming strife and civil unrest.

Yes, we have had problems with immigration, but tnothing like the US or France or Germany. We had black vs white issues years ago. The issue is now Islam. Overall, our modern history re immigration has largely been a peaceful one. Social issues rather than violent.
I oppose multiculturalism and always have. Its not healthy for the nation, the native population, nor the incoming group. Its self-limiting and divisive.
UK’s “conservatism” is far to the left of America’s conservatism. David Cameron ramming through gay marriage, for one thing; and the Parliament deciding it is in charge of the Christian schools and can compel them to teach homosexuality, for another; the rights of free speech terribly abridged and suppressed by political correctness to the point where parents who tried to report the ghastly Rotherham rapes of their daughters were punished because the rapists were muslims, and many other examples of dhimmitude. Contemporary UK is an example of how not to be in relation to freedom and Christian witness. And in last year’s election, Farage and UKIP actually lost ground. I support your heartfelt wishes; but now with the influx of jihadists, you must anticipate additional appeasements by your overlords.
I have great concerns about immigration to the UK: but those concerns are about the sustainability of the overall scale, alongside which Islam-related problems are relatively minor (though far from unimportant.)
