ONDONDERRY, N.H. --Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is working to keep his momentum in the polls rolling with a five-day bus tour through the Granite State.

Trump is on the offense in Iowa, because he is facing a major humiliating defeat there.
Cruz, on the other hand is on the offense in New Hampshire and beyond where he needs to make up significant ground.
By the way, do you understand the concepts of offense and defense?
Got it.
Sorry but a loss in Iowa is not devasting for Trump given Iowa’s track record in past primaries.
One Tuesday Trump will be having a rally with thousands of people in Iowa and most likely an important conservative endorsement. Meanwhile, Cruz will be at some random VFW in NH drinking a Bud Light with a few guys.
Those optics are awful for Cruz. The contrast will be striking.
One person here is going to be the next POTUS. The other is going back to his day job. It’s really not difficult to figure out who is who.
Cold
I think Cruz will win this fight with Trump because he sticks to issues
I could not disagree with you more. The optics provide the following contrast: Ted Cruz, down-to-earth, approachable, one of us, someone who connects with the people. Donald Trump, jet-setter, drive by campaigner, no rapport with the people, on-stage whiner and blowhard. The contrast is striking and it will be more striking yet with Iowa and New Hampshire behind us.
Watch the polls carefully in the next 12 to 14 days. These are going to be very tough days for Donald Trump as he faces actually losing and losing big.
Great. I’m glad you are confident in your candidate. So am I. We’ll know exactly where this race is going in a month. May the best man win.
I am very certain Trump will be the nominee. Period. As someone who has personally helped you in the past, I think we can just leave it there.
You're right.
I know I should have seen the red flag earlier with the issue about Planned Parenthood, but what I think really got my attention was SCOTUS nominations. Trump is definitely to the left of Cruz and less educated about judges. He would be more easily conned by a Souter type nomination than Cruz. Also, Trump is such a huge egotist that I wouldn't put it past him to nominate a big time lib if that person were a relative or friend.
Time will tell. But if it is a movement election the question is what does the movement stand for?
Right now, other than everyone in DC is stupid and has to go I don't see a message. "Make America great again" is no different than "hope and change". It is vague and appeals to our emotions, but doesn't create a mandate. Trump increasingly looks like a Pub obama. If he wins the nomination and the general election he will sweep into office and be as divisive and ineffectual.
I like Cruz because he clearly has a plan. He understands how screwed up DC is and which players he can trust and which players he can't.
I just dropped in to see how long it took for a Cruz thread to mention Trump.
Only 1 post! You’re like the MSM - addicted.
sing along......
It’s closer to the truth to say you can’t get enough
You know you’re gonna have to face it, you’re addicted to Trump!
I like Ted Cruz and will vote for him if he wins the nomination over Trump. I suggest you pick up a copy of Crippled America and see if you can understand THE MOVEMENT better.
Cruz is absolutely correct. Everyone in front of a microphone needs to be saying this boldly and often.
