That isn’t wholly fair. On NY Eve, there were stories of men accompanying their woman off the train, not having any idea what they were walking into. I saw one video where a man described this. A circle of 20 or more men swirled around them, kept the circle going round her, and pushing him right out. He couldn’t even see where she was let alone get to her. It’s not like he was expecting an attack like that at the train station they got off at every day. All of a sudden he was cut right out.
