In the early 60s, the UK went through the Profumo Affair in which a high government official (John Profumo) was accused of putting national security at risk while consorting with prostitutes. Other important people were also involved.

At one point during the trial, when questioning one of the women (Mandy Rice-Davies), the defense counsel pointed out that Lord Astor denied an affair or having even met her, she replied, "Well (giggle) he would, wouldn't he?"

The CIA is complaining about the Benghazi movie? Well, they would, wouldn't they?
