Lol. Trump has crossover appeal in the Midwest and the south. But he will not win New York or California.

Compare this to Donald Trump. He's always praising the voters, wherever he goes.

"How stupid are the people of Iowa?"

I worked on Wall Street, just blocks from the WTC, knew people who died their and their parents. I am shocked a thoughful guy like Cruz showed such regional prejudice.

I have lived in five states from the northeast south, southwest and west, and everyone I met I have treated as a fellow American. Yeah they heard my northeast accent and mostly we treated eachother as fellow Americans. Too bad Ted. When I lived in Texas I was a Texan, and I would punch or choke out anyone who Messed With Texas. Sorry Ted you don’t feel we all bleed Red White and Blue.

I worked for Rudy Guiliani’s mayoral campaigns even though he is way more liberal than me. Rudy was a great leader, and Mayor.

Nothing wrong with Rudy’s New York ways, he took a city that suffered the loss of thousands of folks, injuries to first responders and over $100 billion in property and business losses just the first year alone.

I watched with heartache the endless funerals, the endless digging for human remains. We all bleed Red White and Blue. My Father and Uncle’s who served like me in the Navy and Army, saved America lives and won WWII for all Americans. And on the day they died they were buried with an American Flag, with honor guards not with a New York Flag.

Funny thing My wife Is a big Cruz Supporter, sent him several contributions. I had hoped he and Trump could be cordial and we would see an Trump/ Cruz ticket, or maybe Trump would appoint him a Supreme court justice.

this remark doesn’t make sense given his wife worked for Goldman Sachs, you don’t get any more New York than that do you. I am sure she isn’t happy about how this remark reflects on her.

You know sometimes you say something you wish you could take back? This is one of those events.

I looked at California about a month ago.

At that time I determined that all he had to do was move 11% of the vote to takeover first place in the last general election here.

Polling like he is with Blacks and Hispanics, that might be possible.

Blacks and Hispanics have generally given the Republicans 5 to 15%.

Numbers are now showing them supporting Trump with something like 20%.

Will folks have had enough Leftist annoyances? I don’t honestly know, but if Trump comes to California three or four times, holds events in five cities each time, I predict he has a very good chance of swaying enough people to take California away from the Left.

California didn’t go this way for no reason at all. The Republicans have sold us out on every issue that came along.

We passed Proposition 187 out here in 1995, and our president “BUSH” openly trashed it. Why should folks vote Republican?

Trump has addressed that segment, and I think he’s a lot more electable out here than people think.

And if he travels the state hawking Conservative policies like he has been for seven months, it gives state politicians cover for running on them too.

A guy like Trump changes everything.

Cruz wouldn’t have a prayer of doing that out here.

This is one reason why I favor Trump.

Folks may not like it, but it is reality.

Cruz must be doing well because the mainstream is doing everything it can to slam him today. Interesting that the media does not go after Trump in the same way. Maybe they know that Trump is under the master’s control where as Cruz is an actual threat.

I went past Proposition 187 and am not sure if you know what it was.

Proposition 187 was a people’s (not to be confused with a Leftist action) initiative. The premise was submitted to the state elections office, and enough signatures were collected to put it on the ballot.

Conservatives in the state worked very hard, and low and behold it passed.

It’s tenets outlined plans to start preventing illegal aliens from getting all the freebies they had been getting. In stepped the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and it struck the law down.

Gray Davis refused to push an appeal. Our state Attorney General did likewise. It was dead in the water.

Then along came Bush and declared he didn’t think it was a good idea anyway.

Guess who was Bush’s policy adviser and has a memo on the internet right now where he advises candidate Bush on how to field questions about Proposition 187.

Ted Cruz

Ted either helped him establish his policy on 187, or merely gave him phrases to use to respond to the press when questioned.

Either way is a very big negative for me.

If Ted was helping him establish a policy, then Ted was acting against the wishes of the electorate in California, a decidedly states rights issue.

If he was just giving Bush verbiage, then he was just one more go along to get along RINO.

Yeah, I think Cruz stepped in it with that remark. And anyone who has seen my posts knows I’m a Cruz guy first. I know what he was trying to do, but he just grooved one down the middle for Trump.

I understand where you are coming from.

It was a mistake. He should have known better.

People forget that in place like California, 45% of the people are solid. Flip just 5% back the other way, and you have parity.

Even if I don’t like a state, I would far more rather fight for it than surrender it to the Leftists.

That’s one thing that bothers me about this forum. I’m always hearing folks say, “Let California go. Who needs it anyway?”

California has the nation’s one, two, and three largest ports. It is also a great state, and something I would never relinquish to any foreign power.

We need to become more persuasive. Trump is exactly what the good doctor ordered.

73% of New Yorkers voted for a de Blasio. That's New York values.

That would be 73% of the 24% of New Yorkers who bothered vote ...

And check out my home page to learn about real New York values.

Being a New Yorker I hate to admit it but I teared up a bit during Donald Trump’s passionate defense of my home town.

Up yours Ted!
