Cruz let his mouth get ahead of his brain on this one. Most people are thinking he was talking about NY City, and he might have been. Trump’s 9/11 rebuttal to it was brilliant. But I am Southern boy who was stationed in upstate NY for years and you don’t get anymore conservative than the folks in upstate. Small town America to the max. Country music and pickup trucks, hunting season and drinking beer. If the accent didn’t give the people away, you’ll think you were in the hills of West Virginia. I loved the place and have a lot of great memories.

You are new to politics aren’t you. Read up on Tammany Hall...and get back to us when you actually know something.

No thanks, you couldn’t pay me to live in that slum. Guess what they say about NYers is right.

Thank you so much for that picture.

Bruce and I met in 1973 as teenagers. He was a Navy veteran also.

I knew his parents, and my wife and I attended his wedding.

He was a born again Christian—we went to the same church.

It was very nice of you to do the research—I deeply appreciate it.

Absent from the body is present with the Lord.

He gave his life for others—no man has greater love than this.

Cruz just kissed his fanny goodbye???

Trump proved the last week that he is simply not fit for office.

I finally woke up! When the rest of you sober up you will see this guy as a phony baloney, his so called conversion to pro life is not even believable

My pants are 29” X 33”.

Btw, mindless snark makes your ass look big and your mind look small.

Iowans knew Trump was talking about Cruz supporting Iowans. That’s why it didn’t hurt Trump one bit.

NY sucks. No doubt about it.

But those who live there endure a great burden.

I live out in the South now...in the country with my animals...easy as pie. And I love it.

Pray that you may be so blessed.;-)

Personally, I’m much more worried about Ted Cruz’s Canadian values than Donald Trump’s New York Values.

Well, then, God bless.;-)

Off to bed. Early to bed, early to rise. Makes a man confused and by midday tired.

We really have to work to separate the candidate from his supporters. Especially on these seriously vicious threads.

I have some reservations about each of the candidates. Cruz and Rubio, for example, are, IMO, just a tad too ambitious. Like Obama, they barely got sworn into their Senate seats before starting the run for POTUS. It helps to find the key to the men’s room first. And to be smart enough to have someone else say the stupid things for you!!

I’m afraid the way the race is going now, both have severely damaged themselves so that they may not be able to run again after they’ve gained some meaningful experience. I still like Ctuz but he’s made some uncalled for dunderhead errors. We don’t need career politicians, but I DO expect whomever I vote for to have some serious achievement under his belt.

I always think it’s a mistake to insult a group of people whose support you may need down the road.

Now Ted may have written off New York, but Trump certainly hasn’t.

This also shows a weakness of Ted’s. Trump may take New York and California. Ted couldn’t even dream of that.

A good percentage of New York City’s voters deserve to be insulted.
