Actually, it’s not unconstitutional. It’s not based solely on religion anyway. It’s based on their proclivity to jihad. It’s a Muslim thing. It’s commanded by their “God” that they hate and kill all Jews, Christians and non-Muslims.
If you can consider Islam a religion. It is a political system disguised as a religion.

Mostly, what Trump has been pushing is what Cruz has been pushing for a long time.
So forcing a vote on it... I see no downside in it.
