like i said the other day - this was a clandestine transfer of something to the iranians. something sensitive that could not be handed over via the usual channels.

his was a clandestine transfer of something to the iranians. something sensitive that could not be handed over via the usual channels.

If this was indeed a "clandestine transfer of something", then why the armed seizure of our boats? Wouldn't the appropriate action be to just make the exchange and go on their separate ways, unknown to the rest of the world?

And if the US boat did indeed break down, wouldn't the proper action to insure this clandestine operation remained secret be to offer whatever mechanical assistance the US boat required and then send them on their way?

Instead we now have photos taken by the Iranians of an incident that could have caused an international conflict had our own boats, which appeared to be heavily armed, decided to repel the Iranian task force made up of Boston Whaler fishing boats........

I suspect the US boats were indeed in international waters while being tracked by Iranian radar. When their boat broke down, the second remained in attendance while they drifted into Iranian waters. It was at that time that the Iranians dispatched their mighty fleet of Boston Whaler fishing boats to confront and seize the US boats.

The US boats did not offer resistance since they were indeed in Iranian waters and any such military action on their part would have created an international incident.

Any foreign national military presence in our own waters would have been met with the same show of force.

The only legitimate problem with this whole incident is the photographs taken of our soldiers on their knees then published via the Iranian television networks and ultimately our own MSM..........

Whatever it is, I hope it doesn’t detonate high over the US anytime soon...
