BREAKING: Defense Secretary Slips Up, Reveals Obama Admin LED IRAN Straight to Our Sailors

BREAKING: Defense Secretary Slips Up, Reveals Obama Admin LED IRAN Straight to Our Sailors First came the fact that President Barack Obama refused to address the arrest of 10 of our sailors by the Iranian military after their boats had mechanical trouble at sea. Then came news that the Obama administration had offered the Iranians an apology for the release of the sailors.

Now comes the disturbing revelation, apparently delivered by Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, that the Obama administration tipped off the Iranians that our soldiers were lost at sea and requested their aid. The news came from Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, during an interview on TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch shortly after Iran’s arrest of the sailors had come to light.

“I understand that (Secretary of State) John Kerry has indicated, look, when he got word, he and Ash Carter called the Iranians to help take care of our Navy guys, because they had some mechanical problems,” Gohmert said.

Absolutely totally fictitious piece of govt work here. Just nonsense. Pt A to pt B nav does not even require any electronic navigation other that a timepiece and compass.

No dual boat with dual engine mechanical malfunction claim is plausible. The Iranian boston whalers with grenade launchers/mortars/machine guns or whatever would have difficulty hitting anything beyond a couple hundred meters since they are not radar guided nor gyro stabilized weapons.

I refuse to believe our sailors are that incompetent as implied by the govt scenario. If so then we should expect a thrashing by the Sengalese navy, let alone the Iranians.

Folks, is it possible our very own Obammy Marxist muslim govt could be a bit deceptive? What has been claimed thus far is not within the realm of possibility, or I am one disgraced disheartened ex-navy sailor.

I think it was planned. We had 10 returned to us so Obama could release 10 more terrorists from Gitmo.

Since the SecState is not in the chain of command, any such orders can be safely ignored.

Of course we don’t know what really happened-and probably never will unless one of the soldiers has enough courage to step up with the truth. But for sure the explanations released thus far are total lies and fabrications. ‘Most transparent administration ever’-puke puke puke!

They should be, agreed. Modern crypto is far different than that of 20 years ago. I doubt it has much value these days.

in the Persian Gulf, where the Iranians have been known to come close with speed boats.

Close enough to light up with 50 cal.

They have also lobbed a fair number of missles at our forces. Anyone alive in the eighties became introduced to the word Scud. The United States Navy has been maintaining shipping lanes in the gulf, particularly the straight of Hormuz, for decades.

I ask, what was the nation, (religion? Whatever!), that has ALWAYS traditionally sought dominance and control of said waterways? Give you a clue, in 1976 it became a Muslim theocracy. Otherwise known as an Islamic state.

This event is more than just coincidental. Imnsho.

Yes, lost at sea is ridiculous. If that is the state of our Navy that they are lost at sea in the Persian Gulf God help us all.

I remember the Benghazi story that said the Benghazi episode was a kidnapping gone bad. The story went that U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was to be kidnapped and Zer0 would miraculously make a deal to have Stevens released in exchange for the release of the “Blind Sheik” imprisoned for plotting the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The similarities in the capture of the Navy sailors with the Benghazi theory is too much to miss. In this case, the sailors were released and the release of the $150,000,000,000 to the Iranians would happen because of Kerry’s efforts to get Iranian “cooperation.” This all was a publicity stunt for the Obama Regime and his masterful treaty he set up with the Iranians. The technological secrets on board those boats and the credibility of the U.S. Navy were all thrown under the bus for Zer0’s place in history.

Maybe no word from Trump and Cruz because they don’t have the full scoop either. Before you can condemn or even inform, you have to understand what went down.

Was this meant to be seen?

You can’t tow the boat back if the Sec. of State orders you to stay put...

Pure garbage.

Any of the mates I served with in 2 Screw would have done whatever was necessary to get each other out of harms way. We were a team and we knew it was us against them. Our "jobs" dealt with killing or being killed. You ever had the experience?

Something really stinks about this. I think it was a total set up to make Iran look good.

Obama and the left always prop up dictators and muderers.

“Since the SecState is not in the chain of command, any such orders can be safely ignored.”

Actually, I made one mistake in my analysis, it wouldn’t have been Kerry that had to be contacted for cross border authorization, it would have been Obama who would have been contacted, and he is indeed in the chain of command.

the Obama administration tipped off the Iranians that our soldiers were lost at sea and requested their aid.

If this is true we really do need to rebuild our military, and fast.

Had no planes or helicopters to look for them or provide cover?

Why start now, we deserted our Bengazi Embassy and now we desert our troops, unless of course they join ISIS and then we go overboard trying to save them.
