Flashback: Hillary Clinton on 25% National Gun Tax: "I am all for that."
Buckeye firearms ^ | September 14, 2015

We're always warning people that elections matter. And the quickly approaching presidential election could matter a LOT to gun owners.

Why? Because there is a very real - and very frightening - possibility that Hillary Clinton could be our next Commander in Chief.

Like most liberals, she supports a host of anti-gun laws. She has pushed for these laws for a very long time. And she has undoubtedly learned from Obama how to work around Congress to impose radical ideas on Americans through executive orders.

When she testified before the tax-writing Senate Finance Committee years ago, Hillary Clinton was asked by Sen. Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) if she supported the imposition of a new, 25 percent national sales tax on guns. Clinton emphatically endorsed the tax, stating: "I am all for that."

HiIlary-style tax attacks on guns are already happening. For example, last month on August 10, the Seattle City Council voted unanimously to impose a $25 per gun sales tax on all firearms!

And on Aug. 26, Clinton said she would push to "balance the legitimate Second Amendment rights with preventive measures and control measures." The next day a Washington Post headline declared her "the new standard-bearer for gun control."

In fact, she doesn't just support anti-gun laws, she thinks gun owners are "terrorists." At a town hall last year she called for a ban on "assault weapons" and declared, "we cannot let a minority of people - and that's what it is, it is a minority of people - hold a viewpoint that terrorizes the majority of people."

And the news might even be worse ... there is now speculation that even if Hillary is taken out of the race, none other than anti-gun zealot billionaire Michael Bloomberg might enter the race!

Hillary Endorses 25% National Gun Tax https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifQqN6akA-0

As she testified before the tax-writing Senate Finance Committee on Sept. 30, 1993, Hillary Clinton was asked by Sen. Bill Bradley (D-N.J.) if she supported the imposition of a new, 25 percent national sales tax on guns. Clinton emphatically endorsed the tax, stating: "I am all for that."

Just remember that Grabbing guns and taxation are two things the nation's Socialists love - and when they can combine the two....

BTW, also keep in mind that Comrade Clinton also loves the idea of the government making you an offer You can't refuse: Turn over your gun or go to jail.

"In the Australian example, as I recall, that was a buyback program..... I think it would be worth considering doing it on the national level" Hillary Clinton October 16 2015 http://www.c-span.org/video/?328774-1/hillary-clinton-town-hall-meeting-keene-new-hampshire&start=2831

Komrad Klinton is acting like a true Democrat: MORE taxes.
She can't get taxes from the criminals so she goes after the hard-working middle class.
NOTHING changes.

Buyback works for a nanosecond. Then people go out and buy another gun, PREFERABLY from out-of-state. Problem solved.

It’s immensely easier to go after the law abiding than the criminals since the former obey the law.

She along with the rest of the socialists want that to be implemented on a national basis.

They have their little statist fantasies about registering guns and then going door to door to collect them up and if they have to give them back they want it to be in the form of shredded metal..

Wow, Taxing the crap out of guns is gonna sure do a hell of a lot to stop the Black market on guns..... Wait it is gonna expand the Black market.

These Progressive morons sure don’t understand how regular markets work let alone Black Marts, well that is the ones that are not directly involved with Black Markets...

Someone once told me in communist countries there was far more business going on after dark when the secret police went home than during the day.

Isn’t a tax on gun ownership comparable to a poll tax? when are we going to get taxed for exercising our 1st amendment rights, as well?

Yes, It’s all about taking ‘from each according to their ability..’

What’s the difference between Comrade Clinton and Bernie Sanders?

One actually admits to being a Socialist.

This law abiding citizen only obeys legal and righteous laws.

When they start trying to control me with illegal tyrant laws, they will fail.

Gotta love America!! So, enact a 25% tax and tomorrow any number of machine shops will sell an X% product that doesnt require background checks nor will incur a tax. The product can be easily finished using simple tools and jigs. No, the govt isnt in control and by and large is run by the worlds largest collection of village idiots. Articles like this shows we have them in a panic and on the run.

The Second Amendment gives THE PEOPLE, which is defined as individuals, the RIGHT to keep and bear arms and to form and keep a well regulated MILITIA. This was NOT reserved for the US government nor delegated to the states but recognized as the RIGHT of individual people. The Tenth Amendment reinforces the language that gives the RIGHT to the PEOPLE. The specific reason for the Second Amendment was for the PEOPLE to be able TO DEFEND THEMSELVES FROM AN OPPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT so they gave the RIGHT to the PEOPLE and NOT TO THE US GOVERNMENT OR TO THE STATES. There should be NO TAX on firearms or ammunition as there is NO POLL TAX on a citizens RIGHT TO VOTE.

Gee, ask any liberal:

Should we tax ____ ? YES!
Are guns bad? YES!

Combine the two questions and what do you expect?

Constitutionally, guns should not be subject to ANY sales taxes at any level of government. What part of SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED don’t they get?
