Old Horseface’s “State Department” said this was a “great victory” for America and proof that his “deal” with Iran “works”. ROTFL! What a fool.

From Real Clear Politics, Sept 10, 2015...

"In a 2014 New Yorker interview, Obama said his goal was to create a 'new equilibrium' in the Middle East.

In the short run, at least, his signature diplomatic undertaking can be counted on to bring more violence to this volatile region.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, as the [Obama-Putin Iran deal] agreement is formally known, provides the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism an infusion of somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 billion of unfrozen assets and a great deal more of continuing revenues as businesses and governments around the world rush to profit from oil-and-gas-rich Iran's reintegration into the world economy.

The agreement relaxes the international isolation of the Islamic Republic and ratifies Tehran's status as a nuclear threshold state. And it relieves restrictions on Iran's acquisition of weapons, including ballistic missiles. ..."

Not just humiliate Obama, but poke their finger in his eye. They love it. And they know Obama will do nothing.

Once the sanctions are lifted and the money is in their hands, how will the Iranians play the next taking of a US Navy boat? That future incident will be the true test of Kerry’s personal relationship.

Actually this is a setup. The next president, likely a Republican, will deal with the next taking of an American vessel by the Iranians. If he or she refuses to be humiliated, the Iranians will keep the Americans as hostages. Obama and Kerry will be on the nightly news telling the American people they were successful while the mean, nasty Republican hardline strategy doesn’t work.

It is so easy to humiliate the Current Regime, the Mullahs just cannot help themselves. The bullies get so much gratification from this, they must continue to escalate the provocations and taunting to ever higher levels, just to keep the adrenaline flowing. Now that they have won everything they asked for, they are astonished that every time they slap the Current Regime around, nothing much seems to happen.

So they go ahead and slap around Saudi Arabia as well, this is just further insult and teasing. “Yeah, whatcha gonna do about it?”, like Nelson in The Simpsons pointing and laughing “HA ha!”

Fact is, Saudi Arabia is very nearly as helpless as the Current Regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, as they have a large number of Shi’ites, who would be a sort of fifth column within the Arabian Peninsula, already embedded in their cities and commercial structure. Even their own citizens would not be politically reliable. And the Saudis have no military infrastructure, as they depended for years on hiring the US Army, US Navy, and US Air Force as their mercenaries. The Current Occupant has pretty much ordered the US military to stand down, or if they do engage, it is with a ridiculous set of Rules of Engagement that effectively prevent any serious action at all.

I suspect Kerry also thanked the North Vietnamese for their cooperation on his trip to Paris many years ago. Seeing that sailor grovel and apologize too likely brought back many happy memories for Kerry as well.

Something stinks about this. How were both of these boats captured? They BOTH had engine trouble? What were the rules of engagement? Did they not have communication to notify they were having trouble and to send support? Why was there no military support for this stranded vessel? Helicopters, Jets overhead nearby, more heavily armed vessels?

Were these men just alone adrift and waiting to be picked up by a foreign military. WTF ?

Did Kerry put himself in for another Purple Heart?

I mean, if he can award himself one for shrapnel that was imbedded in his ass as a result of placing a grenade in a barrel of rice, he should qualify for one for kicking himself in the balls at Iran's request.

But, but does not America owe Iran big time for propping up a dictator known as the Shah. You know our evil CIA and corporations oppressing the masses of Persia? (extreme sarcasm) Unfortunately that is the ideological mindset of the Obama regime.

I don’t believe the mechanical failure story. Maybe one boat but not two, and the other boat could have been used to tow the disabled boat out into international waters. Something fishy going on and I suspect Obama and Kerry.

maybe i’ve been watching too many old movies or have vague but lingering memories from the ‘nam era, but it seems to me there should have been some keyword or other non-verbal signal the navy lieutenant could have used in his “apology” to definitely indicate he was under duress. can any vets help me out on this?
