One, Barack Obama is the Dr. Frankenstein of the supposed Trump monster.

If a charismatic, Ivy League-educated, landmark president who entered office with unprecedented goodwill and both houses of Congress on his side could manage to wreck the Democratic Party while turning off 52 percent of the country, then many voters feel that a billionaire New York dealmaker could hardly do worse.

Has much more to do with Republican’s failings.

Yes. The truth is a conservative alternative has not been available since 1984.

From the article ......

Three truths fuel Donald Trump.

Two, the Republican establishment also jolted Trump to life.

The big-government republicans brought rise to Barack Obama.

Barack Obama brought rise to Donald Trump.

Three, Trump is a nihilist, but he is a canny nihilist unlike any we have seen in recent campaigns.

I love VDH, but calling Trump a nihilist is a bit over the top. Maybe Trump is not as religious as some would like, but from where both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton sit on the nihilism scale, Donald Trump must look like a microbe.

If Trump succeeds in restoring the American Dream, reversing the Decadence of Western Civilization, at least in America), and undoing the damage that Obama and the rest of the Left have done, then the election of Obama to the Presidency may have been a blessing in disguise.

The second part of the question “How do you stop The Donald?” would be “Why?”

Iconoclasts have made a mark in history before, and in doing so, have been a pivot point for the nation and for the world.

May you live in interesting times. And what the heck, The Donald is the best show in town.

It’s hardly 0’s failings that brought on the rise of Trump, it’s more like (0’s) success of tearing apart our country, lawless behavior, weakening our military and separating our country into tribes.

Just to name a few.

"Obama's Failings Among the Reasons for Trump's Rise"

His failings? His stated goal was to "fundamentally transform (ie, basically destroy) the United States". He's done a pretty good job of it so far.

Republicans are going to have to ask themselves the question about Trump: ‘Do we want a candidate who could be in a mental hospital in two years?’ That’d be a big problem. It’d be a very precarious one for Republicans because he’d be running and then he would break down at some point. You don’t want to be running and have that kind of thing over your head.

I’d hate to see something like that get in his way. But a lot of people are talking about it and I know that even some mental health professionals have concerns, the fact that he shows clear signs of mental instability and could break down at any point.

Here’s what I think I’d do: I’d go and seek a full psychiatric screening if I was Donald. You go see a psychiatrist. You go to a doctor to ask for — what’s called a pyschological screening. You go in seeking a clean bill of psychiatric health from the doctor, even if you think you’re doing just great. That’s part of the problem with mental illness, it’s hard to detect in yourself. Donald could go right in, do it quickly. It can go quickly. Clean bill of health, very good.

Maybe a psychological screening would be good for all candidates? Lots of them seem to have issues. But then far too many psychologists are far off the mark of normal morality and support many leftists ideas such as homosexuality and abortion. So it may be best to let voters decide who is fit to be President.

[ ‘Do we want a candidate who could be in a mental hospital in two years?]

What a odd question, are you REALLY serious about hinting that Trump may be insane?

That’s a question better asked of the full blown pathological liar, and lunatic communist on the demoncraps side.
