I’ll be GREAT when he starts doing that to other countries, particularly China and Mexico!

Check out the business dealings of Harry Reid, The Kennedy Family,The Clintons and many others. Its a rough business environment at times but these folks make Trump look like a piker

Trump is not running to be a saint like Obama was ( Obama failed miserably at sainthood.) Trump is running for the presidency of the USA.

And Trump is tough enough and bright enough to do a great job.In fact Trump is brilliant.

Thanks for posting. The article also shows how Trump rolled personal debt into these bankruptcies.

And reading your posts, your comments are typical.

From the comments on WSJ:
“No doubt, Trump can screw over the best, but do we want that type of President?”

“Uhmmm...Yeah!” so sayeth Vendome...

I know, and you had Trump as a “close #1” but now you just can’t bring yourself to vote for him as this is the “final straw”. Transparent....

It looks to me as if all the long knives are coming out for Trump today - if I were younger, I might be swayed into thinking there was something there...

but no, it is just the usual political cr@p, back stabbing, efforts to sway public opinion in the low info voters, and maneuvering to herd the sheep into the pen.

So, not wanting to be herded, I am still up on the fence -

Considering the hostility to (& fear) of Trump I see out there in the press, and the pundits, I can only conclude that he is the one most capable of upsetting the status quo, which, if you haven’t figured out by now isn’t very good for us sheep.

They are all wolves when they take money from the big pacs.

I started off really liking (and financially supporting) Cruz, but am losing faith in his independence, and now am worried that he is controlled by big money.

Will be waiting and watching, but am no longer trusting the Republican establishment. They left me, and now I no longer belong to any political party, for I fear it is all fixed, like TV wrestling, with us being the suckers.

Trump having 4 bankruptcies out of hundreds of high risk deals is about a 97% success rate.

How many of us have that kind of track record with high risk investments, much less bonds and stocks?

Trump is good at building things. President Cruz should hire him to build the wall... and send his bill to Mexico!

As Mr. Trump famously said, "When you owe the banks a million dollars, they own you. When you owe the banks a billion dollars, you own them."

But let's whine about it anyway.

So, what Laws did Trump violate and when was he Indicted?

Just asking. I assume he did something that no other Businessman wouldn’t have done if given the chance.

Now we know why they call that Show “Shark Tank” instead of Goldfish Bowl...

well, I’m reading the WSJ article, then reading wiki, which says that Merv Griffin had driven Resorts Intl into the ground by 1988 and ‘construction was stopped’ on the Taj Mahal, as in, nobody was being paid. Griffin initially refused to sell but Trump prevailed by swapping some properties with Merv. Trump then spent a billion dollars to open the casino in 1990 - which went on to become the top grossing casino on the strip for well over a decade.
