Doesn't matter (Robinson's intelligence or lack thereof), never try to appeal to the truly unintelligent.
Kind of like wrestling with a pig - one gets filthy and the pig loves it!

Whoop t doo, an illiterate mountain man isn’t going to speak for me. City boy, eh?
First of all, he is anything but illiterate. and he has a tremendous mind.
And that ain't a mountain man. That ol' boy's from the swamp...
But then, city folks have always been pretty ignorant and narrow-minded when it comes to style and culture... So I can see where you might not have known.

Besides the stories about booze, drugs, fights and cheating, he seems like a good guy.

Who are the truly unintelligent? Duck hunters? People from Louisiana? The south? Not sure to whom you’re referring.

Needed some of Phil’s duck calls in attendance at the state of the union show last night for some lame jokes.

His journey through a nasty past to being a good and decent Godly man makes him an example to many. He’s more than a good guy, IMHO.

Yours is one of many posts I’m beginning to see around FR lately that demean and degrade Christians who aren’t on board with Trump...
Phil Robertson is a born again Christian, proud and loud about his faith in Jesus Christ...he confesses his faults to any who will listen. He doesn’t hide the fact that he was a “wild man” in his early years.
I suppose that repentance and forgiveness aren’t part of your vocabulary?
Now FR is sliding into the sewer with not only ad hominem attacks, but also slander against any who dare to oppose the next “one”, especially religious conservatives...smh.

"I view great cities as pestilential to the morals, the health and the liberties of man. [...]"I heartily concur with Mr. Jefferson. And in considering the time that has past between he and I, it is fair to say it has always been so, and ever shall be.

Wrong! He did not. Phil was sure to say “all of us” in the video. Willie did not endorse Trump.

Guy who "dissed" Robinson as being an unintelligent Sourherner for his support of Cruz.
I don't want to be intolerant but some Trump supporters are insulting to anyone what doesn't support Trump whole heartedly like they do.
They seem delighted to challenge non-Trump supporters to "pig wrestling," thus my comparison to the mud wrestling with pigs.

Actually, no, it isn't.
