Hillary Clinton's biggest cheerleader, Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, is celebrating something different about the floundering Democratic presidential candidate: Her boozing.
In an email titled "One hell of a president," McAuliffe writes:
I love Hillary Clinton.
No one's tougher. No one's smarter. No one has a better command of the issues. And, from personal experience, no one's more fun to throw back a cocktail with.
Former President Bill Clinton's golfing pal and fundraiser, McAuliffe is familiar with bars and alcohol. As governor, he brought in top shelf booze to the governor's mansion for parties with legislators.
He is key to Clinton winning the battleground state of Virginia in the general election.
In his fundraising email, he said, "You know that she's going to make one hell of a president. But the polls are tight in both Iowa and New Hampshire, and she won't win them without our help. Chip in $1 today and help make sure we put the best candidate into the White House.
"If you've paid attention to literally any part of Hillary's career, you know that there are some nasty people out there who are determined to see her fail. Her political opponents know what an effective leader she is, and that's why they've tried to drag her down for years and years.
"I don't know anyone else who could have stood up to that kind of opposition for as long as she has, while continuing to fight for all the things she cares about -- and that's why I couldn't be prouder to support her. Our country needs a tough president, and no one's tougher than Hillary."

The SNL skit a few months ago — that many were praising — pretty much showed Hillary as a lush.
At least that is the impression I got from it. Especially after it showed her passing out and falling to the floor as a result of too much booze.
And likely expensed it.
Really? I thought she was the entitled shoo-in. How could a few donations from the peons be necessary?
That qualifies her.
I wonder how many she had the night he made a killing on his Global Crossings account? Or the night Vince Foster bit the light fandango in St. Marcy Park.. Does Terry know where that is?
