The Republican Party tapped South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley to deliver its response to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night, but her most memorable jabs landed squarely on the GOP's own Donald Trump.
Haley took clear aim at the GOP front-runner, discussing her family's immigrant experience while warning against rhetoric that would threaten "the dream that is America."
"During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices," Haley said from the governor's residence in Columbia. "We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country."

Don’t blame Nikki. She’s just the front woman for the Republican Party establishment. They chose her to make this speech and say these things.
I like you, Gov. Haley, but America needs Trump or Cruz right now. Playing nice just does not work in our favor. It’s been proven. I understand that you remain beholden to powerful RINOs who helped bring you to the dance.
Donald Trump will bury her under a heap of her own doing. Hope she got a gigantic check for this.
If only the GOP would have fought as hard against Obama as they do against Trump.

I have never heard any conservative say anything about turning people as described away. If an immigrant abides by the law, immigrates properly and loves our traditions, then they’re welcome here with open arms.
What amnesty and open border proponents want is cheap labor and government subsidized votes for the Democratic Party seeing that they’re done for if they don’t bus people into the United States by the truck load and vote multiple times.
They want to keep Hispanics a separate “race” in an effort to keep them feeling oppressed and separate from America at large, keep them relatively uninformed by discouraging them from learning English, and keep them poor by giving them just enough to survive and threatening them with starvation should they not vote for the “party that cares”.
These politicians are DISGUSTING.

Well .. Nikki was no surprise to me. She said exactly what the GOP-e planned for her to say.
She abandoned the Conservatives .. and they had done a lot to help her get elected.
I have nothing good to say about her; so I’ll say nothing more.
And she bragged about dumping the stars and bars flag. Nutty.
I’m sure Trump will have some nice words for this woman when its time for the SC voting.I don’t envy her.
I'm sure Trump would not take issue with that statement, assuming the ones referred to are legal immigrants. So that's a straw man argument against a stand that never was taken by Trump.

I memory serves me right Sarah Palin was the single largest entity that propelled Nicky Haley to the Govener’s office.
This will only help Trump.
