ohn Sununu — whom Donald Trump has insinuated is unintelligent — fired back on Monday, calling the billionaire developer and Republican presidential front-runner a "lefty liberal" who's "thin-skinned" and "all mouth."
In an explosive interview with Newsmax TV's Steve Malzberg, the former New Hampshire governor who also served as chief of staff to President George H.W. Bush, lashed out at Trump's nose-thumbing barb which was reported by the Wall Street Journal.

Let’s get one thing straight...there are NO conservatives in New England anymore...zip, zero, nada, null, nil. Not one! If they were truly conservative they would have left there a long time ago! Proof of the arrogance is when the faux yankee conservatives start trying to take down real conservatives.
If you are not a member of the Cheap Labor Express™ or in the back pocket of the international corporation cabal then you are not a conservative.
Where is the pic of “Not this **** again”...seriously, none of you GOPe types get Donald Trump you never will...you will spend your eternity in a self created hell mumbling “I coulda been a contender” but you lost it in the lust for gold and power. We don’t need you we need somebody who will save the Republic in its darkest hour. Go back to New Hampshire and find the rock that has your name etched on it. Basically, I could care less what Trumps “history” shows, IF he can “Make American Great Again”, he gets my vote. As far as political parties go, both sides are as crooked as a coiled snake and should both be done away with. I vote for the person not the party.
Gosh, I don't know about that. You get into some rural MA towns, and there are a whole lot of people who would love to see federal and state government disappear. I think the reason you don't see much of them is that they tend to get involved in local government.
One of the reasons I’ve been warming up to Trump is he’s been making all the right enemies.
Donald has resisted being put into a classification box. This seems to show more how narrow minded the body politic is, than what Donald is about. The Donald model has no defined home in their philosophy.
Empirically one might evaluate Donald as a “centrist to mild conservative” (or worse if you like polka dots) but Donald never personally claimed at all to be a conservative of any kind. Donald appears to be looking for good ideas in a “deal” model rather than trying to sell you on a fixed agenda.
We don’t need any advice from the Bush Crew.
