I miss the point as well because I don’t understand what you think can’t be done in the flesh. We can pray for them as we exterminate enough of them to eliminate the threat. The two are not mutually exclusive.

Jesus was not in a loving mood with the money changers in the Temple, when he walked in and grabbed them by the scruff of the neck and THREW THEM OUT INTO THE STREET.
Sorry .. but I refuse to buy this “love your murderer” stuff.
You say this, perhaps, because you don't understand love. If you truly love your children you don't protect them of the consequences of all their actions. You let them suffer those consequences that will prove a more effective teacher than a lecture or a rule.
Although God would have been justified to destroy those who were defiling His temple, He chose, insetead, to let them see a lesser wrath. To have preteneded it was all OK until after they died would have been unloving. Showing them in a forceful manner how important respecting God's temple is was a very loving act.

Don’t agree ..??? That’s fine with me.
I suppose technically you’re not required to do anything as long as you are comfortable with the consequences. Jesus is the one who said to “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Any disagreement you have is with Him.

That's antiscriptural. Muslims are part of the world that God so loves in John 3:16.
He's not too fond of their sin, but He does love them enough to die for them (While they are still sinners) just like He died for us.
Not arguing the point because I believe it is an “and/or” in the Kingdom of God.
We are to love and pray for our enemies...this is one of the greatest commandments. I would submit though, when God has had enough of evil, he not only brings his wrath supernaturally, he uses nations and their armies to wipe out the evil. Would you not agree? Your thoughts?

“persecute” is totally different from MURDERER.
I’ve had employees who were horrible to me .. and I never had any trouble loving them with my prayers.
But, I do not go against scripture when I say .. I AM NOT REQUIRED TO LOVE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO MURDER ME.
