Thanks for the pic, knarf.
Your favorite Bowie song?
(A little arcane, but always thought "Cat People (Putting Out Fire)" was hot).

“Does this reflect on his art in some way?”

Cracks me up how the pop performers are now referred to as artists.

I always liked Major Tom, Little China Girl, and Let’s Dance. Oh, and Fame.

The musicians of the 60's AND the 70's ... were artistic and unique

Clever time signatures and devices drew the listener IN to the music and the ryhthm

Jesus Christ Superstar and Sgt Peppers were both albums I "went inside of" ... probably a combination of the sounds and the words, but most definitely NOT Frank Sinatra !

Frank Zappa should have captured the attuned curiosity

Guitar solos were out'a sight (Free Bird) .. etc.

When I brave an episode of American Idol or one of those singing contest things .... every girl singer sounds exactly the same (to my ears) but the "coach" uses words that say "You're so unique" ... when in fact all they are is another bubble gum pop singer

"Suffragette City was the dance number at College..."

"Wham, bam, thank you ma'am..." was such a great line.

“David Bowie Calls Himself ‘A Closet Heterosexual’”

I call him a perverted freak. Always have and I always will.
The shock is finding out after all the years the Bowie and
I both agree on it.

I’m pretty sure he was a longtime cigarette (and who knows what else in the mid-70s) smoker.

To me he always looked half dead. It’s a wonder he lived this long.

He almost bought it back in 2006 with his heart attack, I read somewhere he had six more heart attacks since then, so it seems clear he was in frail health for years, which explains why he didn’t make many public appearances.

Is there any other reason to post this 20 year old piece other than to piss on his grave?
