Reacting to the removal of muslim activist Rose Hamid, John Kasich says that the Trump rallygoers are "not the Republican Party."

JOHN KASICH: I saw a crowd booing this woman who was being escorted. That’s not the spirit of Jack Kemp. I mean, we are people that can tolerate differences and respect people, and this is nonsense. That is not the Republican Party.

Jack Kemp and his “compassionate Conservative” is what drove us down this path to hell. First of all, nobody really remembers Jack Kemp. Secondly, to qualify “conservative” with the adjective compassionate is insulting. I believe true conservatism is compassionate. Liberalism is cruel and crushes the human spirit.
