The Dems, Not the GOP, in Disarray This Election
Real Clear Politics ^ | January 10, 2016 | Salena Zito

Last Tuesday, Bloomberg political reporter Sahil Kapur tweeted from a Donald Trump rally in Massachusetts that an undecided New Hampshire voter said he will likely vote for the Republican businessman.

The mans second choice was Vermont Democrat-Socialist Bernie Sanders.

Tweeted Fox News contributor Michelle Fields the next day: “My cab driver in Iowa says he's an independent. His first choice is Trump. Second choice? Hillary.”

Many registered Democrats in those regions now self identify as Republicans or Republican-leaning independents. Trump has captivated these voters, resulting in his commanding lead in the Republican field.

“In essence, Trump and the other outsiders haven't as much splintered the Republican Party but, rather, have taken advantage of the splintering of the Democratic Party,” Brauer said.

This could be good news for Republicans and not-so-good news for Democrats. These mostly disgruntled voters are turning away from their Democrat roots and are finding some solace with Republican outsiders, which could add noteworthy numbers to the GOP base.

We are seeing the end of the long, slow exodus of citizens with traditional (as opposed to cosmopolitan) values from Democrat ranks to the Republican Party.

Brauer says widening divisions are appearing in the Democratic Party, especially with its working-class members.

Thus far, those divisions haven't been as evident because the Democrats' less competitive primary is overshadowed by the Republicans' very competitive race.

So while Democrats still have significant demographic advantages in presidential politics,” Brauer said, “one of the main stories of this election cycle may very well end up being the ongoing disarray and rifts in the Democratic base.

Not every Democrat is a kool-aid drinking lefty living on the sheep farm. These are the Reagan Democrats that everyone thought were non-existent. They can’t stomach the extreme leftist turn in their party anymore and I think they’re gonna be a thorn to them this election cycle and beyond. I guess the Hope and Change potion has worn off already.

How many election campaigns in a row have we been fed similar cheer leading pap only to see the democrat whip the republican like a rented mule?

Does any sensible person really believe that Bernie could beat Hillary out of the nomination?

His only function is to give Hillary a pretend competitor so she can get free debate air time and create some fake news for the networks.

And let’s not forget that the voting by illegals, dead people coupled with the democrats other dirty tricks give them a %% to 10% advantage out of the gate?

Anme who knows how the Obama illegal immigrants/undocumented democrats will add to those estimates?

I don’t know. There was that thread yesterday about the SEIU President flipping out and taking about needing to intimidate members not to vote for Trump.

There are definitely major fault lines in the Dem coalition. What remains to be seen is if this year they trigger like the San Andreas cutting loose.

What Trump has done is show that the mediots are not in control of the “narrative”. Trump has demonstrated that you can be your own man, and not grovel before the mediots but turn the tables on them and make them grovel to him. That he can set the agenda, he can decide what the right thing to do is.

The democRATS have two worn out old marxists, and a middle aged failure as their candidates this election, thinking that their order of presidents, black, vagina, and latin would cement them in power for 24 years. At which time the electorate of majority white, middle class, would be completely destroyed, the government would be completely bankrupt and they could usher in their new communist utopia.

The majority of republican candidates still fear the media, and tow their line in hopes that the media would celebrate them and boost their electoral fortunes. See Kaisich, Graham, Rubio, and Fiorina.

True. It bothers me to see people going after Trump, cause he created the entire narrative of this election. Prior to him, anyone saying anything negative about the crime rate from people in the country illegally was lambasted by the media.

They tried to do it to Trump, with Macy's pulling his clothing line, and Univision attacking him, pulling the beauty contest, etc., and instead of sulking in a corner, he hit back. If not for Trump, Graham, Bush, McConnell and Ryan would still be controlling the Republican narrative.

The commie ‘RATS need to stop worrying about Cruz and Trump and start worrying about Rodham Clinton. If they were smart, which I doubt, they would develop a Plan B, C, D, E, F and G.

“The Democratic Party is predominantly composed of folks holding cosmopolitan values, which includes a moral preference for redistributive policies,”

Translation: The Democrats have become city dwelling commies who believe in corrupt politics taking money from their enemies and passing it out to their favored local criminal organizations.

Therefore, the traditional East Coast and Rust Belt blue collar Democrats are leaving just like the South did. The Democrats know this which is why they are importing voters as fast as they can.

The Democratic party needs a Gene McCarthy moment, and this may be it.

Look at what can happen. Any day, Clinton can be indicted or at least be referred for it. Then, you have Bernie. He may be an honest man (rare), but his politics won’t play well anywhere off of his home turf, and he would be trounced.

BS! They’re just not advertising it. As much as I hate to admit it, they’re actually smarter than what’s in the GOPe.

Either way, it’s a Trump win!
