Donald Trump in Reno, NV today in the Reno Ballroom to start at 1 pm. Yesterday he was actually early for one of his rallies, so you might want to show up here early.
This will be he second visit to Northern Nevada since November. The first was at the Nugget Casino in Sparks where 4000 people showed up.
The latest Nevada poll from December 30th has Trump up by 13 points with 33%.
The Reno Ballroom is the newest and largest ballroom in downtown Reno and offers 32,700 square feet of flexible entertainment space. It seats usually around 3,000 people.
In contrast Ted Cruz is taking the day off, then hits Baton Rouge on Monday and South Carolina on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, he hits 6 or 7 events at the same time in Iowa via closed circuit, which is pretty clever in my opinion.
Hillary Clinton has 3 events today. A Rally in Waterloo, IA 12:30pm then has the Ellen DeGeneres show out of Los Angeles at 4:00pm which I assume is pre-taped. Then a presidential forum in Des Moines at Drake University at 7:00pm
I will post other live streams. Usually the local Fox carriers are the best. Fox10 Phoenix is in HD.
Another great thread, Nikos!
Thanks so much!
Over 500 posts!
Most way cool!
Of course there’s a ring to it ...
You probably know what a “jam session is” ...
Well we are getting set for a Trump Session - 8 years long ... We’re gonna be rockin’ - and the FR Trolls will be singin’ the Blues!
Thanks! We just got home. It was fun. A lot of standing but it was worth it!
Hubby and I ended up right up front. Trump is one heck of a speaker!
The advantages of being up against the front railing is your front row seat and being able to shake Trump's hand after the event.
The downside is being squished by the wave of people trying to get to him through you! Got a little scary at one time but his security got them pushed back. Still, I was close close enough to check out his hair! LOL
Thanks again for alerting me to this event! So glad we went!
Is it my imagination or is Trump getting better and better at these speeches? He just seems so relaxed, so smooth, so in control.
I am so glad you had a good time and great that you were way up front. Went I went I was clear over to the side and being vertically challenged, could only see very occasionally. He is a great speaker.
Yeah, fortunately we were sheltered by a hill ... but further up on the flat terrain a man was killed when his RV got picked up and dropped on top of him. Many downed trees, busted limbs, several Quonset huts and a barn flattened, fencing ripped out, power poles knocked down ... Just a typical Nebraska storm.
So cool! And happy for you. Now don’t wash that hand too soon
Well, sure!
really like Cruz and hope to see him on the Supreme Court soon.
He also would be a good VP with Trump doing one term.
But the GOPe will starve Cruz of money, so Iâm supporting Trump. Trump (even more key) can get Dem/black votes that Cruz canât.
I donât like the Trump/Cruz war. Wish it would end and weâd move on. But itâs the primaries.
Iâm seeing Cruz in person this week. What question should I ask him?
I think Cruz would be absolutely phenomenal on the Supreme Court!!
I think Trump has more voter appeal! I cannot stand the GOPe—tho I used to contribute, they are dead to me now!!
I do hate the war between Cruz and Trump supporters...we are basically on the same page...I hope for a major reconciliation before general election.
What an opportunity to see him in person!! If I had a chance to talk to him, I would ask him about his stance on H-1B Visas or ANY VISAS given our economic situation....How can he possibly expand ANY type of visa for foreign workers when we have soooo many here in the US who are unemployed but would like to be working? When we have companies firing workers (Disney, Verizon, ComEd++) in order to hire cheaper foreign workers? I just don’t understand how he ignores this situation?!?!?
My biggest problem with Cruz has been his support of various visa programs...IF you could ask him about that, many here would truly appreciate it :)
It was standing room only. We had been outside in the cold (about 34 degrees) for a couple of hours then inside with jackets on.
There were no chairs so we stood throughout the entire event. The woman was in the middle of the crowd and I'm sure it all just got to her. Water was offered to her from every corner of the room.
Towards the end, an older woman next to me had to sit on the floor as she was starting to get dizzy. Too much standing up. Seriously, we needed chairs, I think Trump apologized, at one point, for not having any.
Both women were fine by the end.
He covers the main points and now adds any new current event information along with some humor. He got better with practice.
I’m watching it now.
Yes, if you lock your legs too long, you faint.
I found that out the hard way at a funeral! Fortunately I didn’t hit a gravestone. Would’ve been a two for one deal.
You got to shake his hand?
Awesome!
Good for you!
I was there today and we all had a good time, even in line outside!
One brave/crazy young lady decided to "moon" a public bus that had a hug Bernie Sanders ad. I didn't think she would. I was wrong!
It is driving me CRAZY and BLOODY KELLY is on my IGNORE list.
You know their ânewsâ is not so newsworthy when it appears that the only way FOX executives think they can raise ratings is by raising the hemlines of their female reporters / anchors.
LOL True...Not called “Fox” News for nothing. Speaking as a woman, I could care less ;)
OANN is the way Fox USED to be!
They are a young upstart news show, and I hope they really take off!
I just love Graham Ledger!
He tells it like it is!
LOL regarding his kids, my son is far more of a prude than I am, which is probably a good thing :)... but seriously, a few “H*ll” or “Sh*t” or “Damn” words thrown into a speech are the least of our problems—
I will suggest the hands over the ears to my son ;)
LOL agreed, no F-Bombs :)
We had a storm last summer, where 110 mph straight line winds really messed things up!
