Donald Trump in Reno, NV today in the Reno Ballroom to start at 1 pm. Yesterday he was actually early for one of his rallies, so you might want to show up here early.
This will be he second visit to Northern Nevada since November. The first was at the Nugget Casino in Sparks where 4000 people showed up.
The latest Nevada poll from December 30th has Trump up by 13 points with 33%.
The Reno Ballroom is the newest and largest ballroom in downtown Reno and offers 32,700 square feet of flexible entertainment space. It seats usually around 3,000 people.
In contrast Ted Cruz is taking the day off, then hits Baton Rouge on Monday and South Carolina on Wednesday. Then on Thursday, he hits 6 or 7 events at the same time in Iowa via closed circuit, which is pretty clever in my opinion.
Hillary Clinton has 3 events today. A Rally in Waterloo, IA 12:30pm then has the Ellen DeGeneres show out of Los Angeles at 4:00pm which I assume is pre-taped. Then a presidential forum in Des Moines at Drake University at 7:00pm
I will post other live streams. Usually the local Fox carriers are the best. Fox10 Phoenix is in HD.
Use valet parking. Hand them the keys at the front door and then no worries about parking, walking to the event. It was about a 20-30 minute wait to get our vehicle back after the event in the Nugget but it was well worth it to avoid the traffic and lines getting in and out of parking lots. It’s free although we tipped the kid that took the truck and the kid that brought it, they were running their legs off.

I was thinking about that and it occurred to me that all of his in-the-air time is a chance to rest, to plan, and for his security to stand down and recharge themselves. None of that would be possible if he stayed somewhere on the ground locally.
Yeah, I’ll probably be a bit tipsy by then. Making sloppy Joes paired with a nice French Bordeaux. Also, think I’m going to try making avocado bread from scratch. Practice my guitar... anything to pass the time here today. WEather is overcast.

One of the guys on another thread said he goes home every night get there about 1:00 aM. Sleeps in his own bed every night.

Thinking about a light lunch and then making Chicken Milano later. I use a copycat recipe from Macaroni Grill that I have doctored a little.
Somebody pointed out that maybe it’s what keeps him fresh. He’s in this routine. Surrounds himself with nice things. Get’s on the plane, and it’s several hours where the SS and other staff for rest and repast. I mean he has all these servants. The White House might be a step down for him, certainly the plane.
Funny yesterday how he was mocking Obama about the big carbon footprint of his plane.
Someone should ask him how much money will he save us compared to what Obama has cost us on his trips esp where he has hundreds and hundreds of staff and sycophants joining him.
I’m still looking for the absolutely perfect copy of the Olive Garden Alfredo sauce. I know the ingredients, but there’s something they’ve got in there they’re not telling us. I’ve got the REd Lobster biscuits down perfect.
I’m using a little curry on my fish and sometimes chicken these days, even to season steaks. I hate to admit it but I love the Montreal Chicken seasoning.
His staff in NYC is small. Butler arrives about 5:30 with five newspaper in tow. They have a person that serves as chef , a housekeeper that does other duties (it may be same person)
Melania has a part time secretary but it may be for her design business. no nanny. She drops Barron off at school and picks him up in so they have some one on one. Yes they have security but staff is kept small in their home
