Gary Condit accused of lying during trial for man convicted of murdering his former lover Chandra Levy
A lawyer for a man convicted of killing Washington intern Chandra Levy said on Friday that former California Congressman Gary Condit, who was romantically linked to Levy, misled the jury when he testified during the man's trial.
Ingmar Guandique's attorney Eugene Ohm made the allegation during a court hearing ahead of Guandique's scheduled March re-trial.
Ohm said that notes of an interview that authorities did with Condit after Levy's disappearance show that Condit, a Democrat who served in Congress from 1989 to 2003, misled the jury when he testified in 2010.

I’m still not confident Condit had nothing to do with her death.
This guy was a convenient fall guy. Others may know better than me, but this is my take on it.

I am waiting for the FREEPER who always posts ConDidIt on these threads. I am of the opinion that there is no physical evidence linking GC to the murder, but there is a ton of suspicious stuff including GC’s reaction to this that make it pretty obvious he was involved at some level.
One thing was that Levy told her friends that her boyfriend was getting ready to leave his wife and go public with their romance in the days leading up to her death.
I couldn’t agree more, and this story leads me to wonder if we were right.

Anyone remember that GC had his love nest carpet removed and replaced within hours of the Levy disappearance?
Aslo he initally denied any relations with her until the phone records proved otherwise?
The only thing that saved her was a blue dress.

Can’t believe I’m reading this. This week was just remembering Gary, the murder and subsequent arrest of an hispanic, not remembering the date when all this happened. Do do do do

Condit, Demwit, will skate away free again. The 'white hispanic' who is getting the new trial is trying his best to get an ecquittal, that's all that's going on here. About the only people glad to see this story pop up are the Clintons. Thanks Libloather.
