“Please. He was responding to a question about how Trump was running his campaign. How can you do that without referencing his advantage in money?”

Easy. “Mr. Trump and I run different campaign styles. I’m confident that our campaign strategy will come out ahead in Iowa.”

Trump does not have millions in corrupt insider PAC money like Cruz.

Maybe it if Cruz's PAC would stop funneling $500,000 to Fiorina's corrupt PAC, he'd have more money.

Cruz is talking Cuba communism now, jealous of others hardwork generated wealth. Can’t hide his DNA.

And it’s more than a little ironic considering Cruz is a Harvard educated U. S. Senator with a wife at Goldman Sachs. It doesn’t get any more establishment than a resume like that.

Nah - He should say I want everyone to become so rich that they can have their own plane with name written on them.
That will be hoot.

Is he feeling the Bern? Why should Cruz resent Trump’s wealth?

I love Cruz but I’ll be surprised if he wins Iowa. Trump has said he believes Cruz is eligible. He’s just stirring the pot gently the msm of course wont be so gentle. They will go birther with gusto no matter how much they dismissed birthers when it was Obama. Both Cruz and Obama were eligible because they were born to American citizen mothers. Anyone that argues differently really is not living in reality. I supported the efforts to get Obama’s birth certificate because I believed and still believe he was dishonest about his birth place most likely so to take advantage of special considerations related to academia. I also believe this is one reason why he has made such a concerted effort to keep his academic records sealed which also likely were sub par. That said Trump has nothing to lose by stirring this up even if it is gently. I honestly think the next Iowa poll will show Trump ahead. The only thing that will stop Trump is if he fails to get his new and disaffected voters to the caucuses. If he does get them to the caucuses its over.

This is an elaborately orchestrated dance, and I think both Trump and Cruz are calling the moves.
********************************************************************************
Well, I think that was the case previously. But now that Cruz is beginning to feel the knives in his back, he might just want to change partners. I know that I, for one, have left Cruz’ former dance partner.

Cruz just described his campaign as “grass roots”. Egads. It has become one big money sucking machine. I asked one of the annoying callers if he was paid or volunteer. He was a paid employee hired to solicit funds....that’s not “grass roots”.

Not so long ago, a reply like that would have been categorized as class envy.

Kinda like screeching like Harry Reid every time PACs are mentioned.

I see. Cruz should avoid saying anything remotely critical of Trump while Trump openly questions Cruz eligibility and spiritual sincerity.

As I said, you guys are too much.

[he doesn’t have to work as hard.]

Trump doesn’t have to work hard. He worked hard the past 30 years building a $10B+ organization.

And speaking of working hard, Trump is also managing his business ON TOP OF running for POTUS.

Boo hoo for Cruz that campaigning is “hard work”.

In that sense Trump is way more grass roots than Cruz because THE ONLY donations he’s taken are from individual supporters. Unlike Cruz there are no PACs pumping non-grass-roots money in to his campaign.

[Cruz is just doing what politicians do...attack other candidates. Its’ part of the game]

But when Trump plays that same game, Cruz supporters get their panties in a wad.

What’s good for the goose....
