A Philadelphia police officer was shot multiple times by a man who "tried to execute" him during an ambush in West Philadelphia late Thursday night, police said.
The shooting happened at the intersection of Spruce and 60th Streets around 11:45 p.m.
...Hartnett underwent surgery shortly after the shooting and was out of surgery by early Friday morning and was in “good spirits†and talking. He’s expected to make a full recovery.
... There was no word on the condition of the suspect or a motive for the shooting.

I caught the tail end of it but they were talking about a cop shot multiple times for no reason, has to be same guy. What’s odd is that Dom was referring to a report on this and I don’t see it on the news.

I lived in West Philly for a while... I would at times fall asleep when riding the El and wake up at the end of the line and walk my way from 59th & Market to 21st and Baltimore... Lovely
