There is a diffeerence between making an honest comment on public figures and just trashing some one. As to the difference, you haven’t a clue. Go back to your troll hole.

the question illustrates you have been brain washed.
there is no “presidential” definition etched in stone. it can change at intervals of four years

But why did he need to comment about them publicly? Presidential? - not. The harpies on "The View" have a bully pulpit, too. Several weeks ago Trump advised that if he were attacked he would reciprocate. I prefer his response to Wuss Bush's who rolled over never responded to attacks.

I have to concur with Trump’s assessment of Goldberg and Behar. Behar is a total airhead and Whoopi is just well weird.

“Leave them to their Bushâs, their Romneyâs, their insipid Kasichâs, and their mincing Lindseyâs. We have a country to save.”
Hear, hear!
Reminds me of... “War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things...”
Screw these old school GOP boot lickers. Let them critique Trump’s improper use of the salad fork. Nice people finish last, and I’m tired of being on the losing side!

Trump’s popularity has not taken any bump upward; Reuters has just adjusted their sample to support their guy.

"I am so sick of Trump trashing every one."
It's been said before: Trump is not your typical politician. Nor is he your hide-tail-when-chastised-by-the-insane-liberal-media Republican. And that's exactly what many like about him.
As far as Trump trashing "everyone": From my estimation, he doesn't; he only hits back at those who are an apparent threat. True, he's not noble, like Ted Cruz. But he's also not wimpy and wishy-washy like Romney and McCain! Frankly, I'm sick and tired of candidates who don't fling (or deflect) the mud back at their opponents.
"...why did he need to comment about them publicly?" Because they deserve it! They are a threat with a camera, a mic and internet. They're supposedly feminists; they can take it like a man, right? If they think they think can dish it out, they deserve it right back at them! Trump may not have Cruz-finesse, but in my book, and in these dire times, that's okay. When the enemy hits, hit back!
I digress, but I harken back to an old Bugs Bunny cartoon with Yosemite Sam: "I speak LOUD and I carry a biiiigger stick!... ...and I use it, too!"

Trump is independently wealthy, therefore he has nothing to lose. He can safely say whatever he wants without suffering any repercussions.

To call them outright witches would be even more honest and I’d really appreciate that kind of honesty.

Realclear Politics Average for teh RNC race has Trump bumping up for months, despite many pronouncements along the way that he had said something so outrageous he was done. A guy in my office read that Trump
had laid into Ben Carson in a "9 minute" rant, and was inspired to announce loudly to everyone Ok, he's really done this time! I showed skepticism since the pattern of Trump continuing to rise in the face of such pronouncements had already been established. My skepticism continues to be justified as that was in mid November, and Trump has gone from around 24 to around 34 since then on the RealClear politics poll average.
