John McCain proved the power of revenge on Wednesday night when asked about his longtime nemesis Ted Cruz's eligibility to be president, despite being born in Canada.

MCCain actually was not eligible. He was not born inside the Canal Zone and was at a civilian hospital. He was not Natural born on US Soil as expanded by statute to include us military bases.

I personally do not like McCain and did not vote for him. I personally think he is a traitor and mentally unstable. However, he is stating a valid point.
Any candidate who cannot immediately and convincingly prove his eligibility as President should not be running to begin with. Currently, that includes Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.
Anyone discounting the message because they dislike the messenger in something this important probably shouldn’t be voting either. They have no concept of what the United States is and no desire to uphold their responsibility as American citizens.
And this scumbag can’t help comment about it. To a mental midget who could not come up with a single idea if his life depended upon it, John McCain is an enlightened individual who is the very heart and soul of the Republican party. In reality, McCain should join up with Bernie Sanders and compete for the title of senility champion of the year. This is such fertile ground because Cilizza can join in with people who make him look like he can write an article and be part of the inside crowd.
Ted Cruz is a man who has appeared before the USSC 9 times and won 7, IIRC. The issue of his citizenship is about a 5-6 page brief that Cruz could write while sitting on the can. He can also argue the case that Allan Grayson has filed a frivolous lawsuit and attempted to utilize the court in which such a case would be brought as a political stunt and ask for punitive damages. And quite possibly win such an argument. Not that it would have any effect on Grayson who is quite wealthy.
That the media is dwelling on this shows the vapidity of same and I myself do not think it is anything but a mosquito bite.

I worked for the Navy in Manila where there was no American Hospital. There were Hospitals at US Navy Hospital Cubi point and at Clark Airbase. My wife and several of the officer colleagues were pregnant.
The ruling was that if the child was born at one of the military hospitals it could be President. If born in one of the Manila hospitals it would not. So arrangements were made to fly the wives to Cubi point. We moved from Manila to Subic before the birthday and my son was born in the hospital at Cubi Point.
He has two birth certificates. One was issued by the US Department of State certifying the place of birth as the US Naval Hospital Cubi Point US Naval Base Subic Bay.
The other is issued by the Philippine government, perhaps the provincial government, certifying the place of birth as US Naval Hospital, Olongopo Zambales, Republic of the Philippines.
Think of that the next time you fill out a form......
