Mayor Kenney on Monday barred almost all cooperation between city law enforcement and federal immigration agents, reverting to a policy that made Philadelphia one of the nation's "sanctuary cities.

Congratulations Philadelphia, your elected leaders have given your city to fraudulently documented foreigners
Fine, cut off ALL federal money to Philly.
If the government doesn’t have to follow the law, why do the citizens?
“Fine, cut off ALL federal money to Philly.”
I look forward to either President Trump or President Cruz to do exactly that.
These “sanctuary city” pitches are the dying gasps of areas abandoned by European settlers; here in NJ it is statewide. I just read a story that the government was going to demolish 17,000 vacant homes & buildings in Baltimore. SEVENTEEN THOUSAND!!!
Our government is trafficking illegals here to stem the abandonment of whole sections of this country by taxpayers and their employers.
That’s as plausible an explanation as any.
I’ve been to NJ, outside of some of the northern and southern parts the rest of it should be abandoned.
I live in the northeast, but I think the northwest (where they killed most of the bears in the recent bear hunt) is probably the last remaining “American” part.
NJ is facing a serious decline, but it still a great place for people who want the ocean an hour away in one direction and mountains an hour away in another.
As soon as we have a real president, President Cruz (okay, or President Trump) should issue an executive order freezing all federal payments to these corrupt sanctuary cities until they comply with federal law, and then review to see what other actions can be taken to remove all illegals from our country and prevent them from ever entering the USA again.
Richmond has that, well, maybe an hour and a half in either direction.
The northwest is beautiful, was there 2 years ago. High Point may be the highest point in NJ, but it was a little underwhelming.
30 years ago when I lived in DE, I used to fish in the marshes in south Jersey.
I’ve never been to High Point, but I’ve been to Port Jervis on the NY side and hiked along the NJ/NY border east of there (in Sussex and Passaic counties). The areas are scenic, but have faced a long decline as railroads replaced rivers as the modes of transporting goods and manufacturing & mining jobs left the area. Nice places to visit, but I wouldn’t want to deal with the winters (or the deer).
Richmond sounds nice, just a wee bit warm.
Fkn commie.
Philadelphia - where they ignore illegals and make up gun control laws against Commonwealth laws.
Very frustrating when the liberals leave the city but vote for the same insane policies in the suburbs
He should be arrested. This guy is a real union/ Dem hack I predict he will be a disaster.
People write such stupid things about whole states here. NJ like all states has a Southern and Northern part. Assuming you mean the extreme Northwest and South which are rural, it would be nice if our whole country was farmland. However we would be a very poor country that doesn’t produce anything.
NJ is I believe the richest or one of the richest per capita states. It has extensive suburbs and beautiful shore towns. It has major oil refineries, and is home to some of the country’s biggest corporations.
It also has cities with slums full of illegals, but no we can’t just get rid of the state except for farmland.
Someone wrote that the Northwest USA is the last stronghold of a decent America? Left wing Oregon?
Democrats plans to keep the money flowing after they realize that pre-born genocide has bankrupt their cities.
He was referring to the northwest part of NJ being the non-communist part
There are other such parts he does not know.
Even if they weren’t being aborted they rarely contribute anything to an urban tax base; those that would flee the cities anyway.
