Thats right - after all the disappointment that recent events didn't involve white, conservative "patriots" - to seal the desire for 'domestic terrorists', these idiots walk right into it.
Problem is - your assessment is not correct. Hasn't 7 years of 0bama shown that if anything he's been poking the bee hive to provoke an action like this - to justify a crackdown on 'domestic terrorists'?
It draws attention to the burdensome regulations and lack of justice given to us by dems that Americans can not fight being dumped on our shoulders by this government.
Only if the sheeple hear it from the MSM - now go figure what the chance is for that. All they are going to see are a bunch of gun-nutz.
No, killing a bunch of Americans, that think they are fighting to save their family land from the government or the people that have come in to help has the huge potential of setting something off everywhere else the government is overreaching and being too burdensome to the point of harm.
Again - they will be painted as terrorists - not Americas as you list. Sorry, that is the fact of life and the PR spin will not let anything else be presented.

They ignored the request of the ranchers to stand down
They ignored the request of legitimate patriot militias and citizens to stand down.
IMHO, they've been suckered in by a provocateur of the 0bama regime for just a crisis as this.
Have all other options available under our constitution been used up yet - no.
Waiting and bowing to them has gotten us Ruby Ridge/Waco/Kent State and others.
Each had their own specific circumstances and were redressed. Further we didn't have a govt salivating to confiscate our weapons at the time either.
We need Governors and Sheriffs to put their feet down and say, "Enough!"
Fine - elect them and influence them - this doesn't work to garner that support.
Until the People have some legitimate Governors/Sheriffs to follow, we will always be behind the eight ball and be able to be deemed as rebels for trying to point out how oppressive the government is becoming.
Again, elect better ones.

Who knows, but I’d guess that Big Gov has been spoiling to settle the score with the Bundys since the last engagement went so badly for the gear queers. They may finally get the slaughter they missed out on the last time. Don’t think it’s all going to take very long.

Stewart Rhodes is right. You have to make sure you have the moral high ground and let the tyrant come to you. That’s how you win these things. Aamon Bundy is going to get himself and a bunch of others killed if he’s not careful and Omuslim and the MSM will have a field day with it. This is not the hill to die on.

The left and MSM are not getting people to follow blindly in the numbers they have in the past and if you actually listen to people this year, they are talking about all the lies in polite society(something I have never seen). This is not 1993 where people trust the MSM and can only get opposing view points on talk radio and a few internet sites, besides even then Wacco back then was a image disaster for dems even with the MSM backing them up.
This is 2016 after 7 years of dems in control and Americans buying guns in record numbers and finding other sources of news besides propaganda. Another Wacco might just be a touchstone in this environment. It might be that states just move to protect their people from the feds or come in some other non violent form like mass voting against this government, but it will not be easy for dems to pull off a gun control on this as you think. Too much background truth about overreaching government must be looked into because there are no "kids to be saved" for the government to use here and Wacco is still etched as a horror on how far democrat control of government can get out of hand.
This is not domestic terrorism, this is and will be seen as over-reaching burdensome government being fought, in the minds of huge numbers. No, not all but huge numbers already mad at government. Killing a bunch of whites when dems have been attacking them is not a good image either. This is not a cakewalk for dems. It has the potential for being a nightmare for them though.
Again, they do not control the presentation of what they are doing. From what i’ve seen, when interviewed recently, they are completely incoherent in stating their purpose and goals.
The only thing that matters to 0bama is the destruction of the constitution. this provides a ‘crisis’.

This is a different day and hour. I can’t trust the same factors to play out the same way.
That is the whole point. Americans are not the same this year. I have heard more political speech this year, and some of it shockingly politically incorrect(which I have never heard before in polite society), then I have every heard in all my years combined.
This is not a year for gestapo tactics unless you are ready for a total show-down with Americans. This is not a year that people trust the MSM or the democrats....huge segments see them as the enemy and it is growing and someone like Trump could use it as huge propaganda tool against the dems. Obama will have a huge problem making hay out of this mess because it all started with government regulations and fees.
