Well, until that blind pig found the acorn, at least.
They really do screw stuff up...totally clog a reverse osmosis filter, float to the top of septic tanks and prematurely clog field lines...etc.
Not a good thing.

It’s usually about patents and cost. Apricot seed / pumpkin seed/ papaya seed have been ground up and added to skin care products since ancient days.
