Friday on MSNBC while discussing Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s strategy to attack former President Bill Clinton to weaken his potential general election opponent Hillary Clinton, former Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean echoed his sentiments from yesterday when he said that strategy was ill-advised.
Dean said, "I would say that Donald Trump has finally met more than his match. Bill Clinton’s the best politician in this country, probably the best we've seen in this country since Franklin Roosevelt. And he's not going to respond to Donald Trump. Donald Trump is really good at what he does. His skills don't compare to Bill Clinton’s skills. So, I think he’s just helping us by criticizing Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton's going to let it float. He'll come up with a couple of great one liners that will put him down. This is like Newt Gingrich complaining about being in the back of the plane. It completely undid the whole Republican attack on Clinton in 1996, or whatever it was.
You just don't mess with Bill Clinton. You're going to be finding yourself six feet under before you know your name.â€

Frightens the shit out of me. My kid wanted me to take him to see Trump, but with all the breaches of security from protestors, I discouraged it.
I can't imagine BJ looking forward to that.

Cruz already posted his strategy to beat Hillary for the world to see, including the Clinton's. So he's already "6 feet under" before he even gets to Iowa.

Bill Clinton is his own worst enemy. Or Hillary’s. It was he who turned Ted Kennedy and that Dem machine against her that led to Obama getting the nomination over Hillary. I don’t think he will come out ahead in a contest with Trump.
Besides, has anyone noticed Slick looks like he’s at death’s door? I’m not too sure that to accommodate his wife’s campaign he won’t croak late summer/early fall next year, right around the time Chelsea has #2, to boost mom’s sympathy vote.
That won’t win an election though.
Trump is a tough and straight talker. What he needs IS to address this as a gender issue or NOT a gender issue.
Force her to strictly stand on her merit.
Force her to stand on her own WITHOUT Bill. (I mean, it's not like Trump is leaning on Milania.)
Force Hillary to go toe to toe with him. If that means coming across like a bully, so be it.
I mean seriously, Hillary wants to be President Of The United States. The POTUS isn't a victim. The POTUS doesn't whine about bullies.

She needs to PROVE she can "man up" with the best of them.
She wants to wave the woman banner. That's great.
She then needs to prove AS A WOMAN, she is just as rough and tumble as any guy.

With Trump there is no doubt that he is an alpha male. Hillary needs to prove she's JUST AS alpha.
Relying on Bill doesn't do that.
If I were Trump, I would mock the heck out of everything Bill said or did for Hillary. "What? Can't Hillary run on her own?" "What? Protecting the wife from the mean nasty guy?"
Basically, use Alinsky rules against them.
Unfortunately I don't think Bill is the only one he'll have to be careful of. The closer he gets to winning the nomination and hopefully the W.H. the more I think this is going to upset a whole bunch of people who probably wouldn't stop at trying to prevent him from becoming President by any means. I think we should be adding him to our prayer lists.
