It was so predictable to bring in a female Jedi soon to be followed by a black one. The only white guys from now on will be evil. How PC.

More liberal brainwashing.

Pray America wakes

“”I’m glad that it did not feature Jar Jar Binks,” he said.”

Dammit. He mentioned the name of the evil space Basset. Clearly he is unqualified to b President.

THATS IT! TED CRUZ JUST LOST MY VOTE!!!!!

I like that he’s into some pop culture and not a total stiff.

I enjoyed the movie. I don’t want to go backwards and have more crappy films like the prequels. It may have been predictable, but at least it was fun, had the witty banter that was missing from the prequels, and some space opera.

The ending was terrible. The girl learned Jedi skills in a matter of seconds and almost killed her sith adversary. Plus, we see yet another death star explode. Oh, yay.

I recommend “The Expanse” on Syfy Tuesday nights. So far its been solid sci fi.

Its held my attention so far. I just hope it doesn’t go down the path of the Battlestar Gallacta remake which left me confused with the different realities.

Oh and the tech on the Expanse is nice looking

Agree

The best laugh lines and actors were Chewbacca and the Droids

Poor Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher - should be selling Life Alert and probiotic yogurt

Yes it did. I think the real Sith Lord intent on destroying the Galaxy is Jar Jar Abrams.

He was there, you just didn’t see him. Rumor is that Jar Jar Binks is a Sith Master. You can Google it.

If that was Han Solo’s son, Princess Leia owes him a dna test cause it looks like she mighta had a one nighter with Jar Jar

I like that he's into some pop culture and not a total stiff.

Agreed and it does help him with younger voters.

Definitely a full spectrum candidate.

“The girl learned Jedi skills in a matter of seconds “

You weren’t paying attention. She has a memory gap. Her flashback shows she did have previous training.

SPOILER ALERT

My favorite WAS the planet imploding. And maybe the fact that Luke said nothing. LOL but still got top billing after Hans Solo.

“Cruz said, later admitting his personality was 60 percent Spock and 40 percent Kirk, two of Star Trek’s main characters.”

I made the point on FR the other day that Cruz is like Spock and Trump like Kirk. Damn, if Cruz didn't just confirm at least half of that? I see one as more emotionally-driven and the other as more logic-driven, both strengths and weaknesses. Someone responded they need to mind meld.

Well, I always liked Kirk and Spock but Kirk was clearly the leader and clearly smarter if not more intelligent. Spock was always #2 and many times skeptical of what Kirk had in mind.

Old trekky here :)

"he reminds me of the kids playing with GI Joe dolls while we were all out playing baseball"

Yeah, your kind peaked early and ended up with fat guts, double chins, and no hair. Ted's in his prime, and he knows words with more than two syllables.

Well, it’s just a good thing we’re having fun with this, and not going all Mandy Patinkin on it. Its just TV, after all.
