Bill Cosby: No plea bargain for 'not guilty' entertainer, lawyer says
ABC ^ | 12/31/15

Bill Cosby's lawyer says the entertainer will not consider a plea bargain on charges he sexually assaulted a woman in 2004 after giving her drugs and alcohol.

Lawyer Monique Pressley, speaking on NBC's Today Show, also accused the district attorney's office in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, of playing "political football" with Cosby by making the case a focal point in a recent election.

Asked if the defence was open to a plea agreement, Ms Pressley replied: "My client is not guilty, and there will be no consideration on our part of any sort of arrangement."

So, has Cosby’s accuser been in a coma for the last eleven years?

I don’t think they’ll ever get a conviction against a 78 year-old dude on charges like this.

Kind of makes you wonder. I understand she reported the incident immediately and eventually filed a civil suit, but for some reason the prosecutor at the time didn’t think they had enough evidence to support a criminal case.

That’s why he already settled this same case in civil court.

Cosby is counting on beating the criminal charges.

OJ comes to mind. At the time the thought was he was guilty, but “money talks, BS walks,” was the common refrain. I laughed, but it came true. Is it any different here?

There is a difference in being guilty, and being found guilty.

OJ's case was an example of jury nullification.

What are you smoking? These three are not “good guys!” Arnold was the biggest POS “Repubican” Governor this once proud state has ever had. Evern that worthless turd Pete Wilson was better than Arnold. The only “positive thing” he did in office was knock out a kid with his maid.

No problem....They'll pick jurors who are not about to convict "Mr. Rogers" on a "he said", "she said" case.

She will likely be able to get some bucks via a civil case.

He's such a jerk.
