Considering his historical positions, no surprise at all.

Its Cruz #1, Trump #2.

Anyone else and I’ll sit the election out.

I’ve ran into a few Democrats from Union Construction that are all for him.

He has all the right enemies and a wishy washy political past. If the GOP wasn’t so bad, spending us in to oblivion, then maybe I’d look somewhere else. But it’s all about a soft revolution for me. Up yours elites!

And screw you YEB! You will not win. I voted for your brother TWICE and defended him to the end of his last term.

I’ve talked to lifelong Rip Van Winkle ‘rats who are voting for Trump (if he gets the nod) rather than Hillaryous.

Most registered republicans are moderates. Conservatives have been moving to the independent column since the Bush years.

This analysis is flawed.

At one time the GOP wanted a “big “tent”...not so much now that Trump is building it.

I sure don't see any problem with that. As this article shows, there are a lot of others who will step in to help Make America Great Again.

We can do it without you.

If Trump had run as a Democrat then Hillary would be polling at 4% instead of Yeb.

Cruz and Trump are my favorites too, but I will crawl over broken glass to vote against Hillary or any democrat that is running.

The worst thing that can happen to our country is Hillary ! It's up to us to stop that from happening!

What could Democrats possibly see in a lifelong true conservative like Donald Trump?

People do change and grow, but the evidence does not support that assertion.

I’ve ran into a few Democrats from Union Construction that are all for him.

And if Cruz is the nominee, they all stay home, and the GOP loses again. That is the main reason I am backing Trump. Because I want to win, and am convinced Cruz has no path to victory.
