Police in Germany say a man has died after he and two others blew up a condom machine and he was hit in the head by a flying piece of metal.

I have to think he was relatively unlucky. My impression is that getting hit in the head with a shard from that explosion, at that distance, was a 1 in 10 proposition, at most.
